Biography

Ahn Suk Hwan was born on November 1, 1959 in Seoul, South Korea and is a professional actor. He first started acting in 1997 when he appeared in the movie No. 3. In 2003, after appearing in several popular films such as My Wife is a Gangster, he got his first role on the series Punch.

In 2005, he had an important role on the television series Delightful Girl Choon Hang. Then, after acting in several other television shows, he played a role on the show Painter of the Wind in 2008. The show was a massive hit with fans. He followed this success the next year when he acted a large part on the show series Boys Over Flowers. The show was based on a very well-liked manga, or Japanese comic. Like the comic, the show gained a huge fan following and allowed him to become a more recognizable face to television buffs.

In 2010, he appeared in the tense and exciting historical series Chuno. He then went on to take roles in several other extremely popular shows, such as Personal Preference, Warrior Baek Dong Soo and Tree with Deep Roots. In 2012 he appeared in seven shows, including the very popular shows Rooftop Prince and Bridal Mask.
