Biography
Ady An is a Taiwanese actress and singer. She started appearing on Taiwan’s TV shows in 2001 and rose to fame with the idol drama series Outsiders and Outsiders 2 in 2004. Among Taiwanese actors, she is one of the most successful in mainland China and has starred in numerous Chinese and Taiwanese TV dramas and movies. She is equally comfortable in modern and historical roles.
In 2009, she starred with Vanness Wu in Autumn’s Concerto which became one of the highest rated dramas. Among her most famous shows are Chinese Paladin (2004), The Legend of Hero (2005), The Great Revival (2006), Fox Volant of the Snowy Mountains (2006), Cowherd and Weaver Girl (2009), The Emperor’s Harem (2011), and the movie Saving General Yang (2013).
Ady has sung some of the theme songs for her dramas. In 2007 she published an album, I’m Libra, which was well received. In real life, she is known to have an outgoing and generous personality and has many friends from within and outside of the entertainment industry.
