Biography
Baek Jin Hee is an award winning actress who was born in 1990. During her theater career she has received acclaim for being a talented actress that can play a wide variety of roles. In 2009 she received the New Actress of the Year Award by Cine21 due to her role in the independent movie Bandhobi. In the film she played a young girl who rebels against society by becoming close friends with a migrant worker from Bangladeshi. She also received the popularity award for a comedy and sitcom for the television show High Kick: Revenge of the Short Legged at the MBC Entertainment Awards. Recently she was nominated for best new actress at The Grand Bell Awards in 2011.
Baek Jin Hee recently finished a movie called Our Heaven, which will be released in theaters in 2013. In 2012 she starred in the film Eighteen, Nineteen and also had a role in Foxy Festival in 2010. Her brave performance in Foxy Festival earned her a nomination for Best New Actress at the Blue Dragon Film awards. Baek Jin Hee has also appeared in other television shows such as Jeon Woo-chi, which aired in 2012 on the channel KBS2.
