Biography

Baek Sung Hyun is a Korean child actor who has now, in his adult years, made a name for himself as a capable and mature actor. He was born on January 30, 1989, and had his first role in the film I Wish for What is Forbidden to Me in 1994. In 1998 he appeared on his first television show, which was called See and See Again.

After his debut, he was continuously asked to play various parts in movies and show due to his poise and great acting talent, which was obvious even at a young age. When he was 14, in 2003, he played small roles on two very popular television shows, called Damo and Stairway to Heaven. Then, in 2005, he was cast as one of the main characters in the movie Marathon, which told the story of an autistic runner.

2009 saw him playing an important supporting character on the romantic show The Accidental Couple. In 2010, he starred in the movie Blades of Blood. The following year, he appeared on a Drama Special episode, and also acted the part of a prince on the historical television series Queen Insoo. His latest endeavor was the character Gil Choong Shik on the show Big.
