Biography

Cha Ye Ryun began acting when she was just twenty years old, and since then she has been a familiar and well-loved face to many fans, not only in Korea, where she is from, but around the world. She was born on July 16, 1985. She began acting in 2005 when she took on a role in the movie Voice Letter. In 2006 and 2007, she acted in two more movies, before she made her television debut in 2007. Her first television acting job was on the show Bad Love. Due to her excellent work in her previous films, she was given one of the main roles on the show.

2008 again saw her acting as one of the lead characters on a show. The series was Working Mom, and detailed the problems the lead character faced while trying to raise two children, support her family and rebuild a failing marriage. The same year, she acted on Star’s Lover, a show about a celebrity and the men who wish to woo her.

Since her early success, she has been chosen for lead roles in her latest three television shows. Her most recent work is Royal Family, which aired in 2011. She also continues to act in different films.
