Biography
Chae Jung Ahn is a Korean star who is best known for her acting and singing. Born in Busan, South Korea, she studied at Dongkuk University before beginning her acting career in 1998. Her first true roles were on a television show called Paper Crane and in a movie called Amazing Men, both in the same year, and in 2001, she was awarded the lead role on the new television show Mina. The story followed a young woman who was a pop singer, and Chae Jung Ahn performed many songs for the role. It was then that she realized she could also be a singer. Since her first singing role, she has contributed songs to soundtracks and has also released her own albums.
In 2004, Chae Jung Ahn landed a large role on the show Emperor of the Sea, and in 2007, she got one of the lead roles on the show The 1st Shop of Coffee Prince, which would become a huge success with audiences. The role propelled her even further into stardom, securing her a leading role in the movie Hello, Schoolgirl. She then appeared on the biblical drama Cain and Abel in 2009. Her latest role is on the new show Queen of Reversals, released in 2012.
