Biography

Roy Chiu is a Taiwanese actor and musician who was born Roy Chiu Tse in Taipei, Taiwan on October 14th, 1981. Roy began both his musical and acting career in 2002. He released an album, called Qiu Ze and also contributed to a soundtrack. The soundtrack was for the first television show Roy appeared on, called Starry Starry Night.

Between his first acting job and 2004, he acted in four television shows. Then, in 2004, he acted in his first movie, called P.S… I Luv U. It was not until 2008, however, after four more television shows, that he got a lead role. The role was on the television show Woody Sambo. The show was a big success with fans and helped to make him a star.

In 2009 he acted in his second film, L-O-V-E. After acting in another six shows, Roy landed a part on the fan favorite romantic comedy show called Office Girls in 2011. He starred on the show and, due to its success, he gained an even larger fan following. In 2012, he acted in another show, called Miss Rose. Although it is brand new, the show is already a big hit with fans.
