Biography
Born Jun Young Jae, Dok Go Young Jae is a Korean actor from Seoul. A graduate of Seoul National University, his television acting career began in 1993 on the MBC series Mother’s Sea. Dok Go Young Jae has since played on more than 20 television series, including Royal Family (2011), Pink Lipstick (2010) and Let’s Go To The Beach (2005). He also appeared alongside the young singer/actor Lee Dong Gun in the Korean show Friends. His latest role is playing Seo Joon Tae on the popular television show Saving Madame Go Bong Shil, which premiered on the TV Chosun broadcast network on December 17, 2011. He has also appeared in three films: Fly High (2006), Hanbando (2006) and Mister Butterfly (2003).
Dok Go Young Jae’s son, Dok Go Jun, has followed in his father’s footsteps and is working as an actor, with a current resume of five television shows and two films.
