HIT Starring Ko Hyun Jung and Ha Jung Woo
H.I.T. (Homicide Investigation Team) starring Ko Hyun Jung is a fast-paced murder investigation story with lots of twists and a bit of romance thrown in the mix. It was pretty popular in Korean in 2007 and we think you will also find it enjoyable. If you are a K-drama fanatic, you may recall that Ko Hyun Jung starred in the megahit 90’s series Sandglass. H.I.T. was established to investigate the case of a serial killer. The other four members were assigned from different precincts and when they first started, they all have their own ulterior motives and none of them was comfortable with working as a team or trusted each other. Added to the mix, a rookie prosecutor Kim Jae Yoon was sent by the District Attorney's Office to keep an eye on the police's work. This drama depicts how cases were solved and how the members evolved into really working as a team.

Really enjoyed this. Kept my interest and the storyline didn't lag. Lead actress is fabulous; watching her relationship with the prosecutor as he helps her heal from emotional scars is realistic and touching. I would watch this one again.

I always liked crime drama and this is very well done. A little of everything, I found myself wanting to skip to the next episode so I can find out what happened. I wished Americans had drama's like this, They have crime but no love, oh well. Highly recommended.

This encompassed everything you want in a drama; romance, comic relief, good story, some social relevance. All in all , a good way to pass the time. Also post by HCG is an excellent one: Rate the drama on the writing, the photography, the acting , the director and the casting. Loving 1 actor or actress to the point of obsession and denigrating another is not a reason to downgrade a drama. I do appreciate those who take the time and show their knowledge and that is why I read the POSTS first. subbing also pretty good. If you like USA tv crime shows, don't miss this Korean one. BTW, i took 1 star because the editing was a little weak. too bad there are no 1/2 stars in the rating system. This k-drama would have 4 and 1/2 from me.

I haven't bothered to view Korean shows in this genre because there are so many excellent shows in English. However, this one can hold its own. H.I.T is well written and is paced like a miniseries. An advantage of getting it all done in 20 episodes is that the timeline is carefully maintained and it reads authentic. As the show progresses there are multiple cases at different phases in the investigation, making good use of the excellent ensemble cast. Along with all the crime solving there is some character development in the cast as the team learns more about each other, and as the cases affect each one in different ways. Give it a try.
