My Man's Woman starring Kim Hee Ae and Kim Sang Joong
This popular and groundbreaking drama gained popularity due to it's shockingly sympathetic portrayal of an adulteress. After college, Hwa Young (Kim Hee Ae) weds a Korean-American man and moves to the US with him. Unfortunately things take a turn for the first when his business fails and her husband commits suicide. Afterwards, Hwa Young picks up the pieces and returns to Korea to start a new life with the support of old friend Ji Soo (Bae Jung Ok). Ji-soo is married to Joon Pyo (Kim Sang Joong), whom she dated for seven years before his family finally gave their grudging consent to allow them to marry.
When the widowed Hwa Young meets Joon Pyo, whose love for his wife has long since died, she falls madly in love, and the two embark on a dangerous, dizzying affair. Ji Soo, who struggles to be the perfect wife under pressure from her in-laws, finds her world turned upside down when she discovers that her best friend is having an affair with her husband. Soon the three are caught in a maze where all lines have been blurred.

This was soooo boring.. I had to fast forward so many scenes.. Episode 5 was the best because she told her friend about her affair, and the wife's reaction, to me, was priceless and on point! This movie is a 24 episode long Lifetime movie.. If you like the Lifetime channel, then you might get a kick out of this, otherwise skip this. I didnt care about the characters, i didnt feel any emotion, and it wasnt original. This could have been done in 3 to 5 episodes..
i love the reality of this show,, its not corny its true cheese no bull...BUT the mistress needed a good beating for talking to rudely to her mans parents... shes a spit fire in every term of the word....Ji soo was a sweet woman the perfect wife and proves men dont know a great thing when they have it....the characters were all very interesting i really love it!!!
It was a good drama. Very good acting. It should have been a movie, 1 or 2 episodes would have told the whole story. It certainly was way tooooooo long. The story never got more interesting because once he left home the story NEVER really moved on. Then all of the episodes were almost repititious. The ending was OK because it was reality.
I really don't like how they wrote this drama. Why does the wife of 20 years not get her a hot man like she wants? I thought the rich rich grandpa would leave the grandson an inheritance. a hugh one. He cancelled on his son/who does that?/what kind of father is he any way? cause that witch had a bad time with her mother? He is a Dog! The witches brother, who is he? his persona turns me on.
In my opinion this drama is worth watching . It has comedy, drama, && betrayal.
The actors and actresses did not over do their characters, there was a lot of passion that they showed that can make one believe that they were not merely acting but they have transformed into their characters and made it believable . Also has Real life plots that anyone that have or is going through marital problems can understand. And this is the first drama where the in-laws weren't against the daughter in-law , but supported her. But watch it and be the judge for yourself =.=
I was disappointed, I guess, because I am used to other Kdramas having suspense and leave me wanting more. That was not the case this time around. The characters' responses to the affair were what one would expect, so no surprise there. The one part I enjoyed was watching Dal-sam ask his wife, Eun-soo for kisses, out of the blue.
Oh well, there is bound to be hits and misses. This was a definite miss.
if i was the sister, or wife i would destroy the bitch, i will shave her head, drown her in the tub but not kill her, i will break everything in her house, smash the soju bottle on her head, as for my husband i will divorce him, take the child away and make sure he will never have anything to do with my son, take more than half of his wealth and tell him to fuck off to go to that slutty bitch. but i will make sure both my husband and his bitch will never ever recover , or love each other after leaving me, i will make it in a way that they will live in regret, and blame each other forever, n both of them will never find happiness in each other's confort. i don't care how the producers or directors try to make the movie i still don't think adultry is acceptable. why can't she find another man, why ur best friend's husband out of all the men in the world
This is a great drama - very relatable to real life. The acting is excellent and so is the writing, direction. It is a drama to be savored - I highly, highly recommend it.
