Discover what happens when an ex-convict and an ex-nun fall in love in this dark and brooding tale of hardship and romance.
Raised by his uncle, a professional gambler, In Ha (Lee Byung Hun) grows up learning how to cheat at cards. After meeting and falling for Soo Yeon as a teenager, he begs his uncle to help her father pay off his gambling debts. Unfortunately his kindness cannot save her father and is instead killed by gangsters during the process. To attempt to get revenge, In Ha sets fire to the gangsters' warehouse and unintentionally kills someone, landing him in jail for arson and manslaughter at the age of eighteen. With no where to turn, Soo Yeon, is taken in by the church, and sets her sights on becoming a nun.
Seven years later, In Ha is released and manages to get a job at a high-end casino where he runs into none other than Soo Yeon who has left behind the church to become a casino dealer. Hopelessly entangled with the mob, the casino underworld, and his own dark history, In Ha will have to go "all in" and risk everything he has to keep the woman he loves at his side.
Literally one of my favorite dramas ever. The first time I watched this drama was when it first came out on tv, and I have probably watched it 3 more times. Each time the episodes make me laugh as well as cry my eyes out. This will forever be one of my favorites.
Every episode excellent. Acting by all was the best. Interesting twists and turns to the love story, Lee Byrung Hun had the worst luck imaginable but the best friends & worst enemies. Usually not into the gambling and darker side of life but this was so well acted and believable. Well worth seeing.
Just finished watching this series. Been watching k-dramas religiously for 2 years now & for whatever reason could never get past the 1st episode of this drama - despite many attempts! (!?!) Finally, I forced myself to continue watching and am so glad I finally understand what all the fuss is about over All In. Loved it! Song Hye Kyo is one lucky woman, considering the leading men she's had in her dramas! She is so pretty! And ended up dating both Lee Byung Hun and Hyun Bin after their dramas were over. Not to mention she starred with Rain in Full House. Dang!
I loved this Drama, was very different to all the rest i've watched before, This one has tons of action and intrigues. The characters are great and the acting of all of them is perfect, You wont regret watching it.
You can see other side of koreans, No one dies from cancer (like most of the dramas) and is more than crying and crying.. you have to watch it.
It dragged too much. Although the acting was very good but the entire drama could've been done with less episodes. The lead actor is a superb actor who could've communicated more just by talking to the woman he loved. All in all, it was a very exciting and well produced drama. One exception......the Subtitles were not that good to follow with too much mispelled words. At times they did not make any sense!
Dumb A.. lead character! Poor Communication and why he calls his so-called friend before his he calls lover. He couldn't just say he was in a coma for 8mos.? Why does these shows make Koreans so ignorant?.
There are many instances where the lead character could have saved a lot of trouble by talking. The last one which made me crazy is when he could have told the lead female character that her life is in danger if she do not quit her job.
Ji Sung and Yum Jung Ah star as two outsiders who find themselves caught in the dark side of Korea's upper class, and fight their way out with the power of love.
Song Hye Gyo and Song Seung Hun star in this classic Korean drama of undying love between two siblings who must overcome their own confusion, class differences, and the interference of others to be together.
