Style starring Ryu Shi Won, Lee Ji Ah and Kim Hye Soo

With a high-profile cast and a high budget, this tightly-written, funny take on Korea's fashion world was nicknamed "The Korean Devil Wears Prada". Ryu Shi Won, Hallyu star and popular singer, and Lee Ji Ah, who shot to superstardom for her role in 2007's The Legend, head up Style, a comedy about a girl trying to survive in the cutthroat world of the fashion industry.

Lee Seo Jung (Lee Ji Ah) is done working at the bottom. Sick of her job as lowly assistant to one of Korea's most popular fashion magazines, she puts in her letter of resignation, only to try to take it back after falling in love with a pricey Prada handbag in a store window. Unfortunately, her boss, tough-as-nails Park Ki Ja (Kim Hye Soo) sees the letter, but gives her one chance to keep her job: land an interview with the impossibly illusive famous chef, Seo Woo Jin (Ryu Shi Won).

Dumped by her cheating boyfriend and faced with handbag poverty, Seo Jung gives it all she's got to try to get her life back together, embarking on a roller-coaster ride of troubles as she works her way through the difficult world of fashion.

This was the worst drama I've seen yet! It was poorly written and very hard to watch as a matter of fact I skipped right to the end after 12 episodes because I couldn't take it anymore. Please don't waste your time. I should have listened to the other people who said the same thing while giving their poor reviews.

WHAT IS THIS MALE BONDING? I THOUGHT THE GIRL WOULD ACCOMPANY HIM NOT ANOTHER MAN UGH! EPISODE 6 CHEF H AD SEX WITH THE BIG BONED GIRL WHO LOOK LIKE A MAN OMG nothing about her is feminine her neck is thicker than chef's. SHE IS NO MANLY LOOKING. i HATE THE CHEF DID THAT WHEN THE YOUNG GIRL REALLY LIKES HIM.. THIS STORY IS MISLEADING--THE 2 PEOPLE LEADING THE MOVIE IS THE CHEF AND THE EDITOR IN CHIEF-MAN-LOOK-LIKE WOMAN. I THOUGHT IT WAS THE YOUNG LADY-Athena actress-WHO WAS LEAD ACTRESS IN THIS--GUESS I WAS WRONG. I NO LONGER WANT TO WATCH THIS.You insult my intelligence-19 and 21 year old girls get pregnant the first time having sex--this is an old woman who has sex for many years and she's what? bullshit! Why did you guys do that? The young lady who likes the chef should have his baby. OMG you guys are so crash, I hate you for this! I hate to see these 2 together--she is so much bigger and manlier than him. is this the young girls story or this big girls story? I'm confused.

horrible horrible horrible and it really makes me angry. First of all, I don't like the ugly bastard chef Second of all how did the dvil prada woman end up being the lucky leading lady And third of all, lee ji ah should have quit that job and created her own magazine!!!!!! if i ever meet the directer, writer, and/or producer of this drama, I'll give them a piece of my mind!

Personally I was looking for a drama about designers because there Isn't much you can watch about them and it is the field of work that I am going to school for. Even though it wasn't what I was looking for at first I am glad I gave it a chance and watched the full series. To me who has been in many stage performances at my High School and who has been abroad studying the relationship of clothing and acting the acting is much better then many other reviewers believe. The plot for a show about fashion is actually much deeper then I had expected and there is much depth in the characters as well. Also, all the fashion shown on this show has given me inspiration for my own designing. This is now one of my top ten favorite drama's and I hope to find another one that has incorporated such great fashion like this one, Goong, And Dream High 1 & 2. I expect great things from all the actors on this show including the supporting roles!

This drama was boring. The writer was all over the place. The acting was forced and the scrip was nothing but unemotional memorize lines. The characters were just a bunch of miserable, unhappy people and just made other more miserable.

Although it's similar to the American movie "the Devil Wears Prada", I find this version is pretty good and expands out the roles a bit between the main characters. Also, Lee Ji Ah (Athena, Beethoven's Virus, Me Too Flower) reminds me why in this show I enjoy watching and seeing her perform. This show, at least to me, is enjoyable and pleasant to watch. Worth 5 stars from me.
