Interesting and informative Well, every culture has its dark underside, after all, we are all sexual creatures, no? I am happy to see documentaries like these with different perspectives on Korean society. When one needs money and there are no options, this is what people do. That's why good social services and educational systems are important so that people won't have to resort to this unless they like doing this. I mean, some people find that the sex industry suits them. More power to them if they make a good living and enjoy their lives doing this work. But what's this with 'Wasted Chicks'? Why are women recklessly putting themselves in such dangers? I don't get this episode. Is this a norm or a very small percentage of the population. It's almost like they are prostituting themselves out for chump change and pretending to not know what's happening. Very weird. Like, it's ok coz they're drunk and they are not hookers even though they get dragged around being pimped out to strange men.

reality bites.... these documentaries, although a bit lacking of important information, is like an ice cold water being thrown into my face, waking me up from my slumber of good, clean, fun love perceptions I have of Korea (yeah, yeah, kdrama in one of the culprits!), to a reality that the lifestyle in the big city of Korea is no different from any other big cities here in US. Materialism and high - easy life sown into the minds of the newer generation....

Documentaries are informative.... Watching these kinds of shows makes you think, even affect our decisions sometimes, good job on posting this even though this is primarily a drama site. Whatever your opinion is after watching this show is totally up to you. I say every culture or country it is has its own dark parts, whether it is a growing trend or an avoided fact.

pointless tv popcorn I feel as though this should have been a radio show. All the shots were pointless in that they didn't demonstrate anything about the topic. There were just too many blurred images and shots from the far away or from the neck down. I also didn't like they way the flippant style of this show made light of a serious issue. Women in Korea seem to have no sense of self worth outside of a man's desires. The men aren't manly. It's shameful for a man to only be able to get laid if he rapes some drunk girl. I thought that Korean culture was one of the few left where there is a mutual respect for each other as man and woman. I thought men there still had inherent knowledge of the correct balanced role of guardianship and passion as opposed to ownership and superiority. I guess I watch to much K Drama.
