Creating Destiny starring Eugene and Ki Tae Young
On a spur of the moment desicison, young Han Sang Eun (Eugene) is uprooted from her home in Korea for a new life with her father in Austraila. Years later, having grown up in Australia and completed her law studies in the U.S. she has plans to marry her American boyfriend, fellow attorney Alex (Olivier). Never thinking of her homeland, fate, also known as her father, has other plans in mind for her involving a match he's made for her in Korea. Before she knows it she has struck a bargain with him and is off to spend a year in the country she was born.
Sang Eun intends to stay just a few weeks to placate her father in order to get his permission to marry Alex. However, the two families, based on a promise made in childhood, have always planned on their children marrying, and Sang Eun soon finds herself in over her head. Kim Yeo Joon, a prickly, stubborn doctor, is equally uninterested in her, but when the two find themselves in the same boat, they reluctantly join forces to outwit their families' plans.

I loved this drama! Second time watching it and it never gets boring. The only problem I had with this drama, was Geum-Ja, The two lead have great chemistry and their acting is so real. You can tell they love each other, especially after getting married in real life!

Super drama - although I do not at all like the story line between the characters Kim Yoon-hee, Kang Hae-sung and Jung Gyu-hwan. Can hardly wait for the rest of the episodes. Great chemistry between the characters. Definitely will be watching this one again.

Totally fall in love with Eugene's character, and she did a good job. I don't like drama with weak, poor and stupid female vs. strong, rich, smart guy, this one is awesome. The weak part of the story is the sister yoon hee's romance, although it might be a necessary part, but is not touchy nor funny at all, it just boring. This drama is emphasize in people having double standard, despite the gossip neighbor is a re-married single mom herself but she cannot accept her son to marry a single mom, also yeo joon's mom, while complaining others discriminate against her daughter but herself even do the same to sang eun. Pobably this is most of the ordinary people's point of view.

I started watching this drama from the beginning on channel 18-3 and it sort of had my interest but then I started to miss a lot of episodes since it was hard trying to block off 3:30 in the afternoon on the weekends. When I decided to start watching it again I realized that the drama hadn't really moved from the spot that I was at. The plot was a little silly and dragged a bit but I enjoyed watching it. I liked the romance between yeo joon and sang eun. Even if it was a little fake I didn't care! (But at least it was more believable than the romance with sang eun's little sister.) I was really drawn into the story between sang eun and her real mom. And I was soooo.... disappointed that yeojoon's older sister and his photographer best friend didn't end up together!!

I will admit that the scripts were sort of silly, but I couldn't help myself. I was totally drawn into these characters lives. I was with them through all the ups and downs. I really liked this one. Maybe because the actors were so great. Anyways this one is worth the time invested. Very entertaining.

I liked the family bonding among all the families they showed, it was a nice story and the leads were a cute pair and I heard they are really married so good for them . :)

I wouldn't recommend this drama to anyone to watch. It's pretty draggy and the same issues are constantly arising without a solution. Acting was mediocre, and the story just wasn't memorable. I like to give a drama a few episodes to settle in and gave this one a generous try but couldn't bring myself to finish it. If you're looking for a good romantic comedy, look elsewhere.
