Heading to the Ground starring Jung Yunho and Go Ara

This light-hearted sports drama tells the story of a gifted soccer player and a sports agent who clash on the field and gradually fall in love.

Rookie sports agent Kang Hae Bin (Go Ara) will do whatever it takes to become successful. Faced with constant opposition from her estranged father, her fellow agents, and a male dominated field, she is determined to fulfill her dream and take one of her players to the World Cup. When she discovers Cha Bong Gun (Yunho) a talented soccer player whose team has just been dissolved, she is determined to become his agent.

Unfortunately, Bong Gung doesn’t want to play soccer anymore, and Hae Bin will have to stake her career on him in order to win out against the opposition. As they struggle through many obstacles together, the two gradually gain the kind of commitment and trust that must exist between a player and his agent, and romantic feelings begin to bud. But will complications keep their feelings from growing? Will the many obstacles they face keep these two from achieving their dreams?

All I can is that this drama was just OK. Nothing to jump up and down about. I would have loved to see the atorney actually go to jail for the crimes that he committed and he committed a lot of them. It dragged a bit in some places and I fast forward a little but not much. Although U-know did pretty good acting, I prefer to see him singing.

(U-Know) Yun Ho was really great in this... he should do more dramas or movies... I guess he is probably busy with his music though <(^.^)>

I loved Go Ara and Yun Ho's characters in this drama but I had to skip the episodes in which he was stuck in the mental hospital. This drama is good but sometimes just seriously pisses me off because of the villain. Yun Ho is just like Maria la del Barrio (if anyone here has watched this mexican soap opera xD) and suffers from the beginning to the end because of the villain....all the most absurd things happen to him because of the villain and Go Ara's character still believes and dates the villain until the last episode!!!!!! Can you believe it?? What made me watch until the end was the presence of Yun Ho and Go Ara and specially the song (Sarang in Gul Yo) sung by Taeyeon and Sunny.

This has good actors and actresses in it and they do an excellent job! The story line is good also and it will be one I will watch again and I don't say that lightly because their are not many I will watch more than once.

The script could've been a lot better, and so could the special effects. It started off boring, but after the "incident", I can say that it got a lot better. Bong-Gun's character development was great for me because I didn't really like him in the beginning to be perfectly honest. I absolutely love the OST by Taeyeon and Sunny; thankfully MBC put it in the drama a lot :) Overall it was an okay drama. There wasn't as much soccer as I thought there would be, but it's all good.

The first 6 episodes had no depth to the story and the acting was far to shallow. I skipped to episode 10 and the second half of the drama was better. I feel there could have been more chemistry between Bong Gun and Hae Bin because there were some good scenes so it leaves me to believe the director was too cautious and opted for the shallow/timid actions. The director had the script repeat almost identical scenes from other dramas which didn't fit in naturally. The acting and the story got better after the script left Bong Gun grow up. I think the drama had the potential to be better than what it was.

I liked it. Not my fave, not my least fave. I do wish the episode 16 had better captions. There was more missing than usual. Oh well. :-)

This drama clearly didn't know where it was going or what it was doing. MBC cut the thing twice before it finished airing, and it shows. Go Ah-ra couldn't save this from it's own overwritten awfulness. Character motivation is mysterious, plot points are raised and dropped, scenes are plagiarized from other sources. It tears through multiple genres before limping to the end: sports, romance, thriller, mental health, revenge, family, but none of these have an interesting plot or satisfying conclusion.
