A Love to Kill starring Rain and Shin Min Ah

Rain shows his tough side in this revenge melodrama, as Kang Bok Ku, a reclusive K-1 fighter who hatches an elaborate plan to get back at the woman he blames for destroying his brother's life. Shin Min Ah (My Girlfriend is a Nine-Tailed Fox) plays Cha Eun Suk, an up-and-coming actress who may have driven Bok Ku's brother to attempt suicide. His plan for revenge begins by getting hired as her bodyguard, and determinedly seducing her. But will revenge win out over the emotions Bok Ku begins to feel as the two get closer? i feel this drama is very underated. Rain does a terrific job and gosh could he be any sexier? i think not! And yes though the ending is sad, i think it was perfect and it fit the rest of the plot very well. There was nothing unclear about it either i guess it's just not your typical drama. for me, there was nothing that was left unsaid.

I might be in the minority here, but Rain's character isn't doing anything for me. The first episode is also very choppy and rest of the story drags.

Rain, the man is a force of nature. Is there anything this entertainer cannot do. He and the leading actress were terrific. Not so fond of some of the supporting roles...DaJeong and the stepmother ...ugh! The series was excellent but your heart may never be the same after viewing this.. Cast and crew good job.

This drama's to blame for my addiction, It was my first and by which I compare all Kdrama's. It stirred in me emotions I did not know were there, and for a guy that's saying a lot. The intensity and complexity of emotions exhibited between the two leads was profound. The character Kang Bok Gu was the personification of good and evil. To watch him evolve from a vengeful, self destructive itinerant to someone who was willing to sacrafice himself for the love of a woman was astounding. Eun Seok's all encompassing love for him knew no bounds. From beginning to end, this drama had me mesmerized. Five stars doesn't do it justice. It's in a league of its own.

Here's an outstanding drama perfected by good casting and meaningful dialogue. Rain proved to be a good actor and Shi Min Ah a great match to his oozing sex appeal. Viewers should pay attention to the dialogue because that's what separates this drama from any other melodrama. The ending may be sad but it didn't prevent me from watching it again and that's because of the nuances of their acting and dialogue exchange.
