This drama shouldn't have been this long ... there aren't too many writers that could pull off a long series. I've been really into historical dramas lately and Jumong was definitely the best ... I was sad to watch it end. Kingdom of the Wind should've been longer ... not as good as Jumong but by far one of the better historical dramas. I was hoping this would be good, after reading some of the reviews ... it was good until the middle but the relentless corruption was too much after awhile. Many could've been prevented if they just communicated ... and these evil villains that just keep coming back are beyond annoying. Next time, please, please keep it shorter if the plot and the stories are just going to repeat over and over. I gave it a 3 star because it was good for more than half the series.

This high octane, quick paced historical saga will leave you on the edge of your seat. I watched it years ago when it debuted on television, and it seized my attention each week. Empress Cheonchu's rise to power was laden with hardship and many trials which emboldened her on to become Goryeo's premier empress. Her devotion to the two loves of her life showed a softer side to her otherwise brusque persona. Her obsession to build a strong Goryeo through military might and terrtitory expansion strengthened her position and resolve by keeping her enemies at bay. Her accomplishments were vast, as well as the pain and loss she endured to see her vision become reality. This saga has all the elements you look for in a historical drama; suspense, love, passion, intrigue, treachery, and betrayl. So sit back and relax and enjoy this cornucopia of excitement.

I enjoyed this Historical drama immensly. I was engrossed in the pain and frustration that the Empress and her allies endured all because of politics. To see how people use others to gain power it sickens me, but how wonderful to see that there can still be a degree of goodness in some people. I will miss the characters...

Push past the cheesy, laughable attacking bears in episode 1, and you will be rewarded! Ok... also forgive the first 4 min of ep. 19.

I was hooked into this show, the acting was very real, haha. I guess what I'm trying to say is that this drama show deserves a high rating and a good review from me. So, April 25th I just finished watching this spectacular drama and it was amazing. The beginning and middle was this-and-that but the ending was really something. Highly Recommend this drama to others, although it might take a while to finish watching all 78 episodes.

Being a K-Drama fan & Historian by trade, I was very delighted with this Series. Very well done & even with dramatic license taken I was very impressed with how much story you got with the history available. That's great talent. hat's off the all the Acting & production crew who put this together. Thank-you
