Boys Over Flowers starring Lee Min Ho, Kim Bum and Kim Hyun Joong

The action takes place in the prestigious Shin Hwa high school in Seoul. Four boys, who comprise the group know as the Flower Four, are the crème de la crème, sons of the wealthiest and most powerful families from Korea. Spoiled, rebellious, flirtatious and mean, these boys are the poster children for the new image of sexiness in Asia, a group of boys who are in fact beautiful - more beautiful than flowers. The leader, Joon Pyo, is the heir to one of the largest Korean conglomerates. Ji Hoo is the grandson of a former Korean president. Yi Jung and Woo Bin complete the group.

Enter cute Jan Di, who works at a porridge restaurant and is daughter to a humble family which owns a dry cleaner. She is accepted into Shin Hwa on a swimming scholarship and has to deal with a world she has only seen from afar. From the start, she faces the scrutiny of the entire school, who consider her an outcast. The boys from F4, who are demigods in this school, take an instant dislike to her. But through her charm and undying optimism, she tries to slowly win the hearts of everyone around her. And of course, a few of the boys will fall for her. Boys from the F4.

Fancy cars, outrageously fashion forward threads and hair styles that put all the boy bands in the US to shame, Boys Over Flowers is eye candy to young and old, with scenes from exotic places like Jeju Island, New Caledonia, Waiheke Island and Macau.

Very Nice Drama To Watch <3 At first, I really didn't want to watch it because of the storyline (been used over and over) and wondering if the cast will live up to other adaption of Boys Over Flowers's cast but after watching the first episode, I was instantly hook on to it and made me want to watch it until the end, which of course I did :) and saw why it was a big hit in Korea and other Asian countries, somewhat in the USA too. The cast was great too and well picked...I hope they come out with season 2!

D'awww <3 A very good drama. At first I was hesitant because I thought it'd be exactly like Hana Yori Dango, which I've seen twice. But no, it's quite different, but the same all the less. But, since it was a lot like the original, it still had that EXCESSIVE LOVE TRIANGLE DRAMA! Which isn't bad, until you consider how indecisive Jan Di is. And no elevator scene jAj However you've gotta love Jun Pyo and his extreme loving-powah :D His hair just needs to be more curly and less perm-y ;P

! at first i didn't want to watch this drama, the summary seemed lame. but after watching 1 episode i was hooked and understand why it's so popular! the characters have lots of depth, and there is so much action! the drama moves along fast more like a movie than a mini-series. lots of interesting incidents and locations and twists and turns.

Great Drama After finally finishing watching this drama now I know why people in South Korea was crazy about it. I was hook on the first episode. Then it got unbearable to watch when two best friends were fighting over a girl. But I watch through it. I love the ending. All the actors and actresses did a great job in this drama.

It grew on me At the start of this drama, I was drawn in because of the main character's charisma and spunk in the ridiculousness of the bullying and F4. Frankly, I didn't find even one of the F4 attractive in the beginning, so watching this was more to laugh at the lifestyles of these "perfect men". However as the drama continued, I grew to endear each of the F4 characters because of their character development and changes in looks (particularly Yoon Ji Hoo). Interestingly enough, I started to like Jan Di a little less as the series progressed because so much was going on and she didn't show much of any emotion throughout the entire thing. I recall only one actual crying scene for her :/ I really liked the side story with Yi Jung and Ga Eul :) Best episode for laughs, DEFINITELY episode 16! I just about died laughing-! Overall, a very enjoyable kdrama.

For younger generations This drama I felt like was geared towards younger generations. I enjoyed it and I followed the storyline until the end, but I feel like the storyline was geared towards viewers in their teens, which is limited.
