Bad Love Starring Kwon Sang Woo and Lee Yo Won

Bad Love marks star Kwon Sang Woo's return to TV after a two-year hiatus following his controversial link to a mob boss. As the title implies, this story is about a wicked, cruel, and sensational love triangle. Kwon Sang Woo plays Yong Ki, an illegitimate son of a tycoon who grew up without love. So he becomes a pop artist as a way to express his feelings and falls in love with another artist, only to end up in a devastating breakup.

While in this vulnerable state (he has a lot of feelings), he meets In Jung (Lee Yo Won of Queen Seon Duk) and opens up his heart to her. The only problem is that, unbeknownst to both, In Jung already had ties to his family. A few years back, she was deeply in love with Su Hwan, a married man who coldheartedly broke up with her to protect his business ambitions. To top it all off, she gets attacked by Su Hwan's spicy wife and actually ends up in jail for adultery (only in Korea...and may be Saudi Arabia). In Jung tries her best to get over Su Hwan, convincing herself that her suffering is a deserved punishment for stealing another woman's husband. Well, it turns out that Su Hwan is Yong Ki's brother-in-law who perseveres in a miserable marriage in the hopes of gaining control of the family business. When everyone discovers the truth, things get pretty messy as old feelings are stirred up again and there is a lot of hurting going around.

Bad Love was a controversial drama given its rather mature plot and several racy and violent scenes. However, Bad Love also features fine acting from top actors, and shows how easily a woman can fall into an adulterous situation and how complicated love can be.

like a roadside accident... I could not look away after I started. There were so many things wrong with this drama -storyline, circumstances of their love, affairs, obsession, childlike games being played w/love for revenge, etc. InJung's pitiful face throughout was annoying, as was her constant changing of coats...she never wore the same coat twice! BUT few things were right which kept me watching, namely Kwon Sang Woo!

What I like.... The story is straightforward. There is no cat and mouse chasing game like in some other dramas where the characters constantly miss each other just by a hair from beginning to end. In this show, the characters meet, know that they're in love, are adamant about it, and work to overcome a major dilemma together. The love that they have is tried and tested, and it lasted. There's a message in the end after all.

weak middle Kwon Sang Woo was terrific and only reason I watched as much as I did. Got tired of In Jung looking sad all the time and walking around in a trace. Thank goodness it does have a good ending because the middle part is too drawn out. Some cute scenes in the first part of series between Kwon Ssng Woo's character and In Jung.

Goes from Sad, a little happy, to more sad! I thought it was good but dreaded on and on throughout the middle even though it had good parts. I really hated Joo Ran but at the end I think it was good how she finally let go or I should say looked away. I thought it was a good ending and finally happy ever after!

My Rating: Painfully dreadful & HAPPILY SKIP IT! Don't get me wrong, I adore Kwon Sang Woo and I think he's a fantastic actor but this Kdrama is ridiculous! Horrible chemistry, weak characters, and an even worst script/storyline. Such a waste! I still can't believe Kwon Sang Woo would agree to make a drama like this. WHY OH WHY?! I simply just stopped caring. If it weren't for Kwon Sang Woo, I probably would've stopped watching much earlier but as much as I do love Kwon Sang Woo as an actor, I just couldn't finish this Kdrama whatsoever. It was just THAT bad and that's me sugarcoating. My rating: SKIP IT! Seriously! You won't regret it!

Not quite enough to stir up emotion I agreed pretty much with other reviewers. I wonder if they choose different leading actress would turn out better? I've watched other dramas and some actress really did so well like crying, laughing, etc. Somehow this particular leading actress not quite got me emotion enough. Not sure what it is but may be for her with some other character in other drama probably be fine. Story line twists and turns were there but it's missing something.

Bad Love and Bad Drama!!! I agree with aXiSEEu12 and tamatuladil, this drama had too many weak characters, especially InJung. She drove me nuts because she always let everyone step on her. I know many girls in dramas are innocent and defenseless, but there's also a limit. It also bothered me that she wouldn't even try to fight for her love. I thought InJung was too stupid and definitely needs a backbone. On another note, the "plan" they had until spring was ridiculous, it just didn't make sense because she was still gonna experience something she didn't want anyway in the process of that plan. Anyway. I would not recommend this drama unless you like to see weak characters. Because of this, I didn't enjoy it much. The only reason I watched it all is because I like to finish what I start (and so I can criticize it further lol). I guess I only liked Yong Gi. The ending wasn't that great either. By the way, one of the songs they put when the characters were in trouble sounds like a circus... lol...

??? Too much??? I liked this one, but I got really tired of In Jung feeling guilty about things that weren't her fault. The ending was more like a 1 hour flashback of the entire series. I suggest skipping to the last 10 minutes of it to see how things turn out. I wouldn't want to watch this one again, but it was okay to see once. There was 2 much guilt, death, tears, and flashbacks. I've never rated a Kdrama with a 4 b4, but this one earned it.
