Hello! Miss starring Lee Ji Hoon and Lee Da Hae

Based on a Korean manhwa, "Kimchi Mandu", Hello Miss is a comedy that puts a traditional Korean family up against a nouveau-riche Korean family with a grudge. Lee Da Hae (Chuno, My Girl) and Lee Ji Hoon (King Geunchogo) star as polar opposites who slowly find themselves falling in love. Lee Soo Ha is the 38th granddaughter of the Jae Ahn Lee clan and the owner of a traditional Korean manor. She's doing her best to keep her family's traditional values afloat and save her home from going bankrupt. Hwang Dong Gyu is the eldest grandson of the conglomerate TOP Group, and he wants to snatch up Soo Ha’s manor to give to his grandfather, a former servant at the manor hell-bent on dying in the master suite. Dong Gyu tries to convince the stubborn Soo Ha to sell, while trying to fend off his rival and cousin, Hwang Chan Min. But model Seo Hwa Ran also has her eye on the manor, not to mention Chan Min.

I had a hard time liking Soo Ha in the first few episodes. Her silliness and childish behavior reminded me to much of her character in My Girl. Her character did mature greatly but unfortunately the story itself dragged. The first half of the drama was boring and didn't focus much on the relationship between her and Dong Gyu. The last half of the drama picked itself up. The ending was touching and satisying. I still give this drama 3 stars because of the very slow beginning. Its unfortunate because both main characters make a really great couple. Best performance from Lee Ji Hoon (so far).

I've read several of the reviews posted here, and agree with many. However, I think this romance was a breath of fresh air, because it wasn't riddled with vile, evil women whose main point is to destroy everyone. Kkot Bun's character was understandable in her motives; she was lonely, insecure, and hated always being "second best." But she overcame her feelings and ended up happy. The historical and ancestoral aspects were wonderful. I really enjoy learning more about the Korean culture, and this was brought out well with the show. The writers did well in bringing out the Aegisshi's strong character. Loved both of the young male leads. Well done!

This was fairly unremarkable except that it had a very satisfying ending. So often Kramas really rush an ending or leave you hanging or guessing. It gets really frustrating. However, I loved how this one had such a nice ending tied into a bow for once. The wedding was such a great touch.

I saw this many years ago and found it to be a very delightful and enjoyable drama with its "silliness" but to me it always lifted my spirits when i watched the antics between the grandfather and the character played by Lee JI Hoon and his puppy love for So Ha. I love Lee Da Hae and she did not disappoint here.

I skipped around there in the middle. Her thing with not believing anything he said just because he lied at the beginning was a bit much for me. Lee Ji Hoon was the best part of this drama. He was great at his character. The soundtrack rocked. The song at the end was great. I wish I could find it.

well honestly this drama frustrated me,like it was kinda hard to get into the character's.like the lead female role, she was sometimes funny an other times annoying because her character played this naive girl...HOWEVER if you love the wonderful landscapes an cultural value that Korea has, this show is a must watch.Overall i couldn't stop smiling through this show, the supporting actors&actress's in this drama made it worth watching, truly a cultural adventure, you should definitely watch this drama at least ONCE,it will show a calming side of such a beautiful country.

I am at episode 15 now and I enjoyed this lots! I recommend watching if you want a light hearted romance comedy. Did anyone find it odd that there was a scene with the balloons, they blew it up with their CO2... now how in the world did they fly out of the trunk if helium was never used. update: I LOVE the ending!!!

I remember liking this drama very much when i first watched it, back when it first aired years ago. Re-watching it now though, i find myself wanting to skip many scenes because of its repetitiveness. The characters personality gives me a headache, and i feel it makes the drama drag in the middle.
