Fireworks Starring Han Chae Young, Yoon Sang Hyun, and Kang Ji Hwan

Fireworks is a warm-hearted and highly entertaining romantic drama about the (mis)adventures of four young people. Han Chae-Young, star of 2005 uber-hit Delightful Girl Choon-Hyang and most recently seen as Ji-hoo's icily beautiful first love in Boys Before Flowers, brings a quirky charm to her role as Shin Na Ra, a 30-year old unemployed woman who just can't seem to catch a break.

On the eve of their 7th anniversary, Na Ra's boyfriend returns from a business trip and proposes to her, but halfway through their romantic evening he confesses that he has cheated with another woman and that he's no longer sure that he loves her. Furious, Na Ra breaks up with him and goes out and gets wildly drunk. When she drops her engagement ring in a glass of soju, In Jae, the coach of a boys' soccer team, accidentally swallows it, and their lives collide in a less than amicable way. Soon after, Na Ra goes in search of revenge taking a job at the company of her ex-boyfriend's new woman in an effort to make things as uncomfortable for him as possible. What she doesn't realize, however, is that In Jae's mother is a senior executive of the company, and that In Jae and her rival in love, Mi Rae (Park Eun-Hye) are old friends. When In Jae's mother forces him to come work for the company, he and Na Ra are put on the same team, and sparks of a different kind than anger begin to fly. But In Jae also has feelings for Mi Rae, and soon, the four people – Na Ra, In Jae, Na Ra's ex and Mi Rae – find themselves entangled in a love quadrangle. In this witty romantic drama, revenge is a dish best served warm and romantic fireworks are going off everywhere you look.

nara was confusing me at times about letting go and not then not letting go. Wish they would all make up their minds already. I'm at episode 16 and wish it would end already three episodes ago. Like both Kang Ji Hwan (lie to me) and Han Chae young (delightful girl choon hyang) and Yoon Sang Hyun (Oska from secret garden). Mirae dressed up in old fashioned clothes beginning of the drama. (ugghh).

If it was not for Kang Ji Hwan I really was not going to finish it. The story line is too slow, and it seem that everyone was just stupid. They love someone else but was willing to sacrifice for trying to stay with the person they don't really love, which is stupid.

VERY NICE DRAMA,BUT IT LACKED VERY MUCH ROMANTIC KISSING BETWEEN THE ACTOR AND MAIN ACTRES SPECIALLY AT THE END,ALL DRAMAS NEED TO HAVE THAT. WE ALL LOOK FORWARD TO A NICE ROMANTIC SENSUAL KISS AND WE GET NOTHING,OHH WELL.,,,

Kang Ji Hwan can really move his hips. I love the lead actors in this drama. I was pleasantly surprised with this drama after reading the reviews. I liked it. The dance scene alone was worth it! Wish it was longer though.

the ending was such trash! i definitely should've stopped watching it half way through..but my curiosity wouldn't let me. around ep. 12 I started skipping through them because it was way to boring to bear and found myself reading ep. reviews instead of watching them lol.

I'm great fan of Kang Ji Hwan, his act is always cute, but Han Chae Young didn't help much, sorry to say but her character too shabby! Just for a little I enjoy watching and somehow got to the end.

This drama could have been great but ended up average. Na Ra's character was childish and hard to like. It wasn't until a little more than half way into the drama that she was...well acting her age. There were some cute moments between her and In Jae but the majority of the story there was no chemistry.

Even though the story moved slowly at times I liked this one. Hated some of the characters but that is what makes a good show...hating and loving the characters. I, also, want to find out where I can get a "yes & no" doll!

Though not truly lighthearted, the plot was believeable; the acting was excellent; the actors really "matched" their roles. A good story with a good ending. Thanks for the translations too.
