After being abandoned by her mother as a child, Park In Soon is raised by her grandmother. Bright and beautiful, she struggles with poverty throughout her life. After a terrible accident in high school, she sees her chances at a normal life disappear. Plagued by grief, she is miraculously rescued from despair by the reappearance of her childhood friend, Sang Woo.
