Ireland
Starring Lee Na Young and Hyun BinAdopted into an Irish family as a child and raised in Ireland, Lee Jung Ah is devastated when her entire family is suddenly killed after her brother gets involved with terrorists. Jae Bok returns to his life as an intelligent slacker trying to aid his love, a kind-hearted adult film actress, to support her family. All four go about their lives, unaware of the gravity this chance encounter will have on their lives. Ireland relies on few traditional drama tropes, but instead achieves cult-classic appeal through its raw character portrayals, resonant writing, and psychological depth. Character- and conversation-driven, it's an unforgettable and bittersweet story of love, destiny, and family.
