Beethoven Virus

Beethoven Virus is a tale of three musicians who struggle to lead an unlikely orchestra to excellence and fame. Du Ru Mi is an accomplished violinist who is stuck in a mediocre day job. One day, she suggests putting on a concert for an upcoming cultural festival, and lands the world-renowned conductor, Kang Gun Woo. Ru Mi is sure that her life is about to change...until she discovers that their conductor has embezzled all the money. She keeps her dream afloat with a series of lies to the mayor and sets out to find her own orchestra, this time with a very limited budget. She assembles a host of quirky characters with varying degrees of talent, and finds herself short only one trumpet player. Newly-fired policeman Kang Gun Woo hates classical music with a passion, but he reluctantly agrees to fill Ru Mi's empty seat—and strangely, he and the conductor share one name. Ru Mi soon discovers that Gun Woo is a musical genius who has a serious problem with their renowned conductor. The stage is set for a showdown between the cop-turned-musician and the conductor with whom he shares a name, and Ru Mi is caught between them in a triangle that involves not just their music but their hearts.
