Playful Kiss starring Kim Hyun Joong and Jung So Min
An adaptation of classic manga Itazura no Kiss, Playful Kiss is a warm, bubbly drama about falling in love and growing up along the way. Kim Hyun Joong, leader of popular boyband SS501 and famous for his role in Boys Over Flowers, is joined by promising newcomer Jung So Min, Bad Guy. Playful Kiss is an endearing tale that captures the awkwardness and charm of young love.
Oh Ha Ni, nicknamed, "Noah's snail" by her father and friends for her ability to keep trying even though she isn't the brightest in the bunch, has one goal in mind: to capture the heart of school genius, Baek Seung Jo (Kim Hyun Joong). After harboring an all-consuming crush for years, she finally gets up the courage to give him a letter confessing her feelings. Seung Jo, an icy perfectionist coldly rejects her. When Ha Ni's house is destroyed by an earthquake, she and her father move in with old friends of his, who ends up being Seung Jo's father. The two must deal with the awkwardness of living under the same roof. Can one determined, warm-hearted high school girl melt the heart of this closed-off genius?

Second time watching this one and I still love it. A lot of people are complaining about the lead female-role, but she is cute and this story line is cute. Even though she is chasing after him time and time again, but I guess for her it's LOVE! And if she wasn't the way she is in this, then they probably wouldn't have ended up like they did!
This makes me feel like women's lib has just been pushed back fifty years. I really hope some young isn't watching this and think that it is ok to stalk your crush until he cracks under pressure. The lead character was too stupid, without pride, self-esteem or any idea of self worth and love for herself. She was charming but often childish. SMH not on the recommendations, unless your interested in knowing what emotional abuse looks like...geesh.
A delightfully twisty story of a woman who, choosing to marry beneath her, falls from princess-status to peasant-status, and then rises again like the proverbial firebird.
