Queen of Reversals starring Kim Nam Joo, Jung Joon Ho, and Park Shi Hoo

Beloved actress Kim Nam Joo, Queen of Housewives, takes the lead again in the semi-spinoff Queen of Reversals. Joined by an ensemble of charismatic acting talents: Jung Joon Ho (Iris), Park Shi Hoo (Prosecutor Princess), and Chae Jung Ahn (Coffee Prince).

Hwang Tae Hee (Kim Nam Joo) leads a charmed life, after growing up in a wealthy family, she easily attains a coveted job. Too much of a workaholic to make time for romance, she is taken aback when she falls hard for Bong Joon Soo (Jung Joon Ho). She pursues him and they soon get married, but when the honeymoon is over, Tae Hee finds that her rival at work and husband's ex, Baek Yeo Jin (Chae Jung Ahn), has taken over her job.

As she struggles with her job and marriage, she must also cope with the attention of her arrogant, immature boss, Goo Yong Shik (Park Shi Hoo), who falls for her, as her life falls to pieces. Queen of Reversals is an empowering tale of a woman who manages to regain everything she's lost through sheer willpower and determination.

I will admit that the first episodes are kind of slow but once Park Shi Hoo was made the main lead and he is in it more often the show takes off. One of the best heroines in kdrama. Park Shi Hoo and his bromance really make the show, he has great comedic timing. Her ex was a self absorbed jerk, was so happy with the ending.

Could not stomach the ending. When I saw she ended up with the young guy I quit watching. Really hated that I endured 31 episodes to end up like it did. Man the ex took it in the keester. Abused throughout the marriage and tossed aside with some silly, fabricated affair. Harpy is the best word to describe the lead actress. When she was abusing her poor husband I wanted to punch her in that ugly face I kept telling myself to jump to the last episode to keep from wasting so much time but like an idiot I kept hanging in there. This is the last time I do that. I am going straight to the final episode after I figure out the caracters I like. Man this series just pissed me off.

I admit it. I'm watching this show for Park Shi Hoo's smile. There. I said it, and I'm glad. (lol) (Oh, and the story is pretty good, too.)

Guess I missed the memo on this one bc I really don't get what all the hooplah is about. The plot, unfortunately, is terribly weak and slightly a bit too far fetched. I literaly had to jump from ep 4 to 12 then 18 and realized that I wasn't gonna get much of out this. I would understand if her husband was truly infidel in the marriage but he wasn't; besides she was far from being the best partner either. They failed to make it plausible enough for me to understand why she had to leave her husband....

i was one of those who expected her to end up with her ex husband. that would have been a disappointment because to me the love her ex husband had for her wasn't beleivable. their marriage was to quick i think they married each other without knowing eachother. psh character was more beleivable in his love for her i loved them too. i think the husband was still inlove with his ex girlfriend that's why he wasn't honest with his wife. i'm glad that the show ended the way it did because both of them ended up with people that really loved them. as for the people who thinks this glorifies adultery it doesn't. if you want to watch something that glorifies adultery watch tropical nights in december this show does not glorify adultery because she was already broken up with her husband when she fell inlove with her boss.

This drama is one of the few where characters are written as real people. Every single one has moments where they show a different side. Kim Nam Joo and Jung Joon Ho are by turns selfish, loving, insecure, successful, spiteful and giving. All the characters show moments of strength and weakness. Even the main villainess has moments where we can feel pity for her. The story's constantly changing, and things don't always go as expected. Great show that really showcases the talent of actors.
