A really super K-drama. An especially exciting drama about Korean politics. A most convincing cast who played their assigned roles to perfection. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Kwon Sang Woo is very beliveable and funny. Liked the storyline . Waiting on more romance. I am just in episode 11. The father of Kwon Sang Woo is wonderful too.

Wow I enjoy it..... Kwon Sang Woo is a great actor and always make me laugh, cry and fell in love with him ♥ and Hyerim Seo. Go Hyun Jung is a great actress also and Cha in Pyo kept me in tension all the time.... and even tough I did not see a lot of kisses and romance, Doya and Hyerim made us feel their love.

Even though I knew what was going to happen, I held my breath during the counting of the votes and still felt goosebumps when she was elected president! Great drama! Very satisfying and a nice change of pace from the usual RomComs.

I loved KHJ ever since Queen Seon Deok and seeing her again as the main lead is great for all her fans. She just brings life to every story and not just her, all the cast members. The story was written well and I am satisfied!

That is, if you are willing to forgive the dramatic liberties.

The plot/storyline was well-written and compelling. The actors stayed true to the characters they portrayed. My one criticism would be that too much time was spent dealing with the tension of waiting for election results. It's revealed in the very first episode that she becomes President. So, why spend so much viewing time building tension for something we already know the end result? As for the lack of romance, I have to admit that I find myself missing it, but it doesn't detract from the main premise of the story. It also doesn't detract from my enjoyment of the show. A man believing in a woman so much that he's willing to wait until she's fulfilled her promises and dreams, instead of a woman having to give up her dreams for a man.

The good points first. Go Hyun Jung and Cha In Pyo deliver powerful performances in this drama. It involves a strong female character and a mature romance about two people willing to wait for each other mercilessly free of the ubiquitous triangle. The bad? How much over-dramatic grunting and evil conspiratorial laughter can you take? Go Hyun Jung's political platform is populist and somewhat nationalistic and thus obviously pleased both her fictional constituency and the viewers alike. It is unsurprisingly less popular with international crowds. To me she seems like a politician that drank too much of her own kool-aid. Another point unrelated to the story is that the subtitles are lousy. There are spelling and grammatical errors, generous paraphrases and entire lines missing. Actually, I found Kwon Sang-Woo's prosecutor side-plot more interesting than the main story. The finale was too sicky-sweet for my taste. You will get tired of all the middle-aged men yelling. All. The. Time.
