Paradise Farm starring Shim Chang Min and Lee Yeon Hee

Old love dies hard and young love never dies in this delightful romance starring Lee Yeon Hee and Shim Chang Min. Lee Yeon Hee, breakout star of East of Eden, brings her luminous presence to this drama about a couple who were once married and can't seem to get over each other even years later. Chang Min of top Kpop band TVXQ makes his acting debut, accompanied by breakout stars Joo Sang Wook and Yoo Ha Na (of Giant and The Sons of Sol Pharmacy House, respectively). Filmed on beautiful Jeju Island, this is a refreshing, energy-infused romance not to be missed.

Wealthy, nineteen year-old Han Dong-Joo (Shim Chang-Min) meets bubbly, beautiful Da Ji while visiting Jeju Island, he instantly falls head over heels and the two are impulsively married. They end up divorcing shortly after, but six years later Dong Joo returns to Jeju and once again is drawn to Da Ji. Having moved into their old home, Da Ji works to try to rejuvenate the ranch and is being pursued by Seo Yoon-Ho (Joo Sang Wook), the president of a resort. Dong Joo, intensely competitive, immediately begins to interfere, but there may be something deeper than jealousy flaring up between the separated couple.

I'm watching this for the 2nd time and couldn't agree more with the person who commented on Lee Yeon Hee being the perfect fit for the female lead in this drama as Lee Chung Ah was for Flower Boy Ramen Shop! Since watching this Max Changmin has been added to my list of favorite Korean Hotties!:) Hope to see him in more dramas!!!!

I honestly loved this drama! I wanted to watch it but I nearly decided not too after reading these comments. I thought well - it's only 16 episodes so I might as well watch it anyway but I can't think of one bad thing to say about it! I loved everything (especially the two male leads) but even the female lead - I think her appearance totally fit the personality just like the female lead in flower boy rameon shop. Anyway LOVED THIS!! :) If you are reading this deciding whether or not to watch it - give it a chance! I finished it in less than 2 days! ^-^

hey, I like Max Changmin of TVXQ and he is not a bad actor. However, how can a couple that had been married for six months behave as if they were 1st timers?? that to me is so unrealistic even in a Drama!! Another thing that I could not stand was the hair of the leading actress, I know that people who live and work in farms are not into fashion or looking their best when they are working, bla, bla, bla, but still all I wanted to do was to get my hands on her head/hair and help her out with it!! Specially when she was at the dinner party, who on earth goes out looking like that to a event?? To be hones I was not really interested in the begging I started to get interested almost at the very end of it, and thank goodness that her hair looked like so much better. I guess going to Vet School help her to look better for her man. lol

This was better than I thought it was going to be. This is my second attempt at watching it, the first time I only watched the first two episodes, and was bored...but this time around I finished it and I'm glad I did. I don't know why it received so low rating from some watchers, this was really pretty good. The story line wasn't bad and kept my attention once I gave it a chance. It was a sweet and innocent drama, but I did have a problems with the two leads acting like they were virgins and turned off by affection when they were married for six months, I thought that was unrealistic. I also didn't like her hairstyle, she looked frumpy and frizzle until the last episode. However, I enjoyed watching Joo Sang Wook on the screen, he is all THAT!! I can see why she wanted, loved, and then cried over him. He was definitely worth every tear. This is my second drama was the male lead was from the super group TVQX. I watched U-know recently in one.

The actual Korean word the lead actress used is "balkimjeung"--- meaning you like something a lot. It is also a slang word for liking sex, however, it's a fairly neutral word that has no connotations of perversion. It is more often used in an affectionate way between lovers. As to the actual drama, I don't see why people are so stingy with their ratings. You have a light hearted drama with beautiful scenery, good music, some extraornarily attractive people---- what's not to like? By the way, Max Changmin of TVXQ is not too bad an actor, despite the negative comments. I don't see much difference between him or Yuchun, or Siwon or Taecyeon, etc etc...

Stiff acting, nonsensical plot and ending. Plus lead actress' outfits were the worst things I have ever seen in a kdrama. Changmin should stick to his role as a manufactured idol. Don't bother with this mess of a drama. The second male lead is the only good thing about this drama.

People live in the farm tend to lead a much simple life than those who live in the city. Lee Yeon Hee is very sweet and pretty. This cute and and animals caring role suits her most! Too bad the handsome Joo Sang Wook couldn't win her over the always yelling Ex! After watching some tense drama, this one is very relaxing and I quite enjoyed it.

This is a lighthearted drama with seriousness built in. Over all the acting was pretty good. Everyone seemed a little confused in their lives. I enjoyed this drama. I didn't have the urge to fast forward episodes. I was on the fence right up until the last episode as to how it was going to end. I read some reviews that were unhappy with the ending. I was satisfied for the most part. I like the fact that you see growth in the characters. The parents could of been a bit more mature... that was perhaps my biggest complaint about the story. If you like under-dog stories and romance ---Cinderella type you will be fine watching this. I do agree the lead actresses hair cut is pretty bad though.

If you are interested in a drama which the main female character is irritating and annoying, needs a hair cut, is loud, has disgusting eating habits, and is confused ..... then you will enjoy this drama. Those 2 stars go to Joo Sang Wook, he is the only reason I watched this drama to begin with!
