Uhm Ki Joon, a famous musical actor who has been building a successful drama career in recent years (Good Job, Good Job, Dream High) is an eccentric insurance agent in this sparkly weekend drama. Only 12 episodes, Life Special Investigation Team follows an insurance investigation team as they track down criminals and con artists, beating them at their own game. Written with unusual wit, the more episodic structure allows for solid story plots and the actors to play off each other with a natural chemistry. Shim Eun Jin (Swallow the Sun, Star's Lover) co-stars.
Park Chan Ho (Uhm Ki Joon) is a gifted insurance investigator with a love/hate relationship for three things: alcohol, women, and con artists. Joo Kang Lee (Shim Eun Jin) is a driven, no-nonsense investigator who is also a gifted liar. When they're paired together, the criminals of Korea don't stand a chance. Alongside their quirky team of colleagues, from the neurotic Gong Chul Soo to the paranoid Bae Dong Shik, they track down the truth and get through the day, living life as a special investigation team.

"shut the mouth!" hehe i must say i am biased here. i really like investigation TV Series. this is good entertainment also i wish there were more episodes. i really enjoyed the bloopers at the end of each episode.nice background music when they are at the restaurant. i like spanish version of "Couleur Café" in episode 7! :D good drama

Loved this drama :) It was hilarious, but not pointless. 12 hours well spent! I wish there were more dramas like this. ^^ I would definitely recommend!

Thank you all, writers, directors, actors - All round good show. As always a stellar performance by Uhm Ki Joon thank you. I notice that Uhm Ki Joon brings out a very subtle hidden depth to the characters he portrays, it is more felt than seen.

I really enjoyed, with few exceptions, the character and relationship development - particularly between the two male protagonists. Um Ki Joon is always wonderful but so is the supporting cast. I am an Um Ki Joon fan but this would be worth watching even if I were not. If you are patient with the scatological humor, you will grow to care about the characters and their relationships.

Excellent acting, fast paced, and entertaining. Each of the insurance cases allows for a glimpse of human nature, both kind and evil. The case of the blind photographer was for me especially moving. The final case was too convoluted, but it had a welcome ending. Great show, and at twelve episodes k

This was really well done. It was a nice break from the heavy dramas on one end and sappy comedies on the other end. I think this was well worth the the time. Be sure and watch to the end of each show, now that's funny!
