The Relation of Face, Mind, and Love starring Kang Ji Hwan and Lee Ji Ah

Today's best Korean actors and Japanese writers collaborate for the Telecinema film series. Released in theaters in Japan, aired on television in Korea, and now streaming online on DramaFever!

Kang Ji Hwan (Coffee House) and Lee Ji Ah (Beethoven Virus, Athena) join forces in this romantic comedy about finding love in unexpected places. Kang Tae Pung (Kang Ji Hwan) is a good-looking, successful interior designer who has visual impairment that makes him see unattractive people as attractive. When he meets Wang So Jung (Lee Ji Ah), a cheerful girl who has the ability to mimic animal expressions, sparks begin to fly. This film, written by Oishi Shizuka (First Love, Mama wa Mukashi Papa datta) and directed by Lee Jang Soo (Stairway to Heaven, Shoot for the Star), asks the question on whether looks matter in love?

I didn't know why everyone was so cynical about the movie. I didn't think it was too over exaggerated I just kind of hated the fact they made her vain too. Realistically I think everyone can be vain but she was a little mean as if she was smoking hot herself. I understand the logic of rather being alone than being with just anyone but ouch. The other thing I hated was how it took a whole year and a coincidental meet up before they fixed anything. 1 year later... 1 year thrown away! But I actually liked the movie. Lastly this isn't much of a complain but apparently it's widely known that if you're Korean and you hit your head people change in appearance, it's so widely known the doctor knew of it. I'm joking of course but I'm just picking on the commentary of the doctor throughout the entire movie and the fact he was thorough in explaining the vision impairment. 3 stars, it was a nice movie.

Are there more episodes for this drama? Let me know. I like the beginning and want to see how it will unfold.

Kang Ji Hwan and Lee Ji Ah make cute couple...this movie reminds me of an American movie "Shallow Hal". The two characters were destined to meet... Although it needed a better ending...like they get married and jumps forward some years and what their kids would look like?

I rated it 4 stars just because I like Kang Ji Hwan :) ... this movie has a plot just like "Shallow Hal" (Jack Black & Gwyneth Paltrow)... Glad I watched this coz it gave me a break from crying (I just finished watching Kang Ji Hwan's 90 Days, Time To Love.)

The main female character is worthless and not at all easy to empathize with. Once she started going on and on about how she couldn't accept ugly men I last wha ever little interest I still had in the movie. The ONLY reason I even started watching was because Kang Ji Hwan-ssi was in it...that is also the only reason I finished the movie too. And as much as I enjoy watching Kang Ji Hwan his performance was often over the top and cheesey. It just wasn't a good movie. That was an hour and 47 minutes of my life that I am never going to get back.

Watch this film for pure entertainment purposes and you may walk away having a few laughs. It ended without being definite if I liked it. In some ways it reminded me of Shallow Hal yet this movie failed to take me as far as Shallow Hal did. Maybe the lead actress was not flawed enough for it to be truly comedic. The leading man was trying but too exaggerated at times? It is just a miss for me. I enjoyed seeing Korea's urban topography though.

I like the lead actors and that is the only reason why I made it through the whole movie. If it is supposed to be a comedy, it is really lacking on laughs. If it is supposed to be a romance, it is really lacking on chemistry. And why the hell didn't she just get her teeth fixed?

He and the kittens are the only reason I kept watching this. The characters are pretty insipid, the plot twists aren't built up enough and I agree with most other people: the female character is really unsympathetic. There was a message somewhere in this movie about inner beauty, but only for his character--not hers, sort of a pity there.
