This reality show series takes a cue from The Amazing Race and presents ten teams from around the world racing around the cosmopolitan city of Shanghai. Hosted by Brian Yang (Hawaii 5-0, the film "Saving Face"), these ten teams must use their smarts and their language to navigate through the busy streets and get to the pit stop first. Each team that reaches the pit stop first wins a prize, and it leads up to the grand prize - a year's accommodation in two luxury villas at Gemdale Green World. Exciting and fast-paced, these teams get to explore the hidden wonders of Shanghai, and get the adventure of their lives.

ya they kinda boring, i thought, however I see them smart,driven and focused. oh yeah I don't know why Lauren slapped Brian (host) on 4epi though? Thank you DramaFever. I LOve Shanghai Rush. I learned a lot about shanghai districts. Wow! wishing someday to come to those places.

I started watching the first episode from the flash roll and became hooked which is odd because I was never a fan of the Amazing Race. I had my favorites early on and I just kept enjoying it to the end. I hope they do another season.

OK I didn't think I was going to be into this. but after the first 2 episodes I am finishing the rest just to see when Muzi and Helmut will be kicked off. Muzi is such a bi**! OMFG! Poor helmut! Rebecca is also a little bit annoying too. Anyways just watch to see which teams you like best and hate the most!
