This heartwarming family drama puts a modern spin to the old Korean values, Suh Ji Suk (Gloria, OB-GYN) stars as "manny," Kim Yi Han, a Korean-American who has a special gift with kids.
"Manny", a slang term for a male nanny, which is a difficult profession to break into for men in Korea. This drama follows a single mother of two struggling to deal with running her life and caring for her children. She ends up hiring Yi Han to help care for her children, with some trepidation. Before long however, their new "Manny" becomes an important part of their family. This drama tells a heartwarming story of rising above the prejudices that sometimes accompany traditional values.

This is the first drama that I've seen Suh Ji Suk in. He looks like he could be Hyun Bin's older brother in this drama. He'a an excellent actor and I loved his role--consoling, gave great advice, attentive and was a rock for the kids and mother as well. You always have to love Choi Jung Yoon and Byun Jung Soo. I've seen them in many dramas and they are always impressive. Having seen the young girl (Jung Da Bin) in Miss Ripley and now Manny, she is truly gifted and will hopefully go very far as an actress. And I cannot forget the ever adorable Goo Seung Hyun...too precious and extremely talented. Hope to see him in more dramas. Overall, this movie was definitely a winner--great, lighthearted and sweet story combined with an excellent cast.

It's a cute show with the little boy in it and the girl. Even though the girl is a... brat.

Its ok but I counted every time Dong Hee's mother says SURPRISE!!! throughout every episode. haha

did'nt like at first..had to come back after watching Seo Ji-seok in Brain...came back for another try. Was worth it.

Manny was much better than expected. Though the acting was mediocre, the sorry was heartwarming. The kids were lovely especial Jung min, such a cutey pie.

I find the female lead way to insecure for my taste, the male lead is too full of himself and the story does not end the way I would have like it. I kept watching hoping it would get better but it did not.
