No Soon Geum (Sung Yuri) is a brazen housekeeper has grand dreams of living out a Cinderella fantasy and escaping her life of servitude. Soon Geum and her other housekeeper-friends all pin their hopes for a better life on their weekly lottery ticket purchases. One day, Soon Geum tests her luck by purchasing two - one to share with her friends, and one just for herself. When one of those tickets actually wins the jackpot, Soon Geum finds herself in trouble as she tries keep her newfound wealth a secret, learning the true meaning of friendship and loyalty the hard way.

OK. first ofF the fat suit.... pretty bad, but the guy under it.... ooh la, la. The story regarding the lottery and the ticket, friendship and money can be plausible. but, it kind of gets outrageous. Overall, it was just OK, nothing to shout home about. I did not really feel the chemistry between the OTPs

There was nothing enjoyable about watching people squabble over money. There's more greed than romance, so I also think the title does not accurately describe the drama. If you are deciding whether to watch this drama or something else...I vote for something else. There are much better dramas on this site.

What was the point? By episode 5, I gave up. Are you telling me she was unrecognizable? Really? This is the worst kdrama ever and the lead actors, ugg!

Watched everything. Slow start but it was pretty exciting in the latter half. I didn't think I could grow to hate some characters anymore, but I was wrong. Still it had a nice ending that left me feeling happy and because it gave me a brand new story, I'd give it 4-stars. I loved how they showcased the amenities in these palatial houses, like the awesome cabinets in the house w/a wife and mistress. Title has very little to do w/the actual story. Maybe even calling it just 'First Street', but 'Romance Town' it isn't, 'Money Town' is more like it.

I like the light hearted approach to everything. It is all about winning the lottery ticket. If you dont like winning, then you wont like this drama. If you are looking for moonlight romance.....you wont find it here. I had a thing for Park JiYong in this one though she is old lol .SungYuRi...looked really transformed with make-up..If you want to see the power of make up you have to watch the whole series :)

I really enjoyed this drama. I just love Jung Gyu Woon's acting. Great chemistry on set, good job. Gamsahabnida for the great job and the subtitles.

The Drama should of been called The Maids on First Street or just First Street. Other than the titile I found it to be pretty good. There were some really laugh-out-loud moments and some really sad ones. One thing for sure 'Money Is The Root Of All Evil'. Reall Loved Kim Min Joon in this. He was very comical and adorable. Speaking of adorable, the Little Boy was so cute. Just a natural. Loved all the actors. Don't think I ever saw the actor that played the Gangster Guy. What was his name? Really liked the story line. I actually liked the ending. Left a little to the imagination.

I wish this would have ended better. The writers invested so much into the relationships, but all the love was one sided. The maids were constantly looking for approval and that just made this drama seem pitiful. I am kinda glad that they tried to move forward at the end, but it was just too little too late in a way.
