This drama caught me by surprise. I did not expect such an awesome story. What gripped me most was the family theme. The love these people came to have for one another despite any blood ties was overwhelming. Jung Bo Suk performance was dumbfounding (no pun intended). He was just so amazing. I believe this drama was excellently cast & everyone played their parts 2 a T. 4 me, the eps just flew by. On the lighter side, I also enjoyed the eye-candy. Additionally 2 this drama’s credit, I was astonished at how well the writers produced so many twist & turns without overdoing it. I think this was the first drama I’ve ever seen that tied up ALL lose-ends where I wasn’t left wondering about any part of the plot or subplots. I’m not usually keen on forgiving the evil characters but somehow, the show was so exceptionally put 2gether that I still felt vindicated. Then to leave me with a great ending to boot!! Outrageous!! This is a must see!!

The actor Jung Bo Suk who plays the retarded father of Bong Woo Ri gave a stellar performance. This character is so far different from the loathsome man he plays in La Dolce Vita. It was fun watching the switch. There were also quite a few pivotal moments in this drama. The stigma linked to persons with disabilities in Korean society was brought to the surface. The writers aim to show that apart from those handicaps they are no different than any contributing member of society. There were also lessons to be learned here in family unity, love and forgiveness. Love conquers all, and that bond shared between Dong Joo and Woo Ri triumphed over their ill fated histories. This was an intelligent, insightful, inspirational drama squashing those negative stereotypes and uplifting the human condition. It really spoke to the heart.

I loved this drama. The emotions in it were so heartfelt and realistic that I found myself crying along with the characters. It was very well-casted, and although some parts came across as predictable and/or unrealistic, overall it's probably the best drama I've seen so far. Just the closeness between family members and the relationships between the characters....simply astounding. Despite its hefty episode count it had me hooked until the end, and I do not regret a second spent watching it. This is a must see!

This was a combination of other dramas I've seen, which is probably why I enjoyed it so much! Romance, comedy, family, humility, betrayal, revenge -- it had it all! It will definitely be in my Top 7-10 for years to come! =]

It tapered off a little at the end but the first 25 episodes were awesome. Overall I'd recommend it but I wish it had a bit more romance and a little less family drama.

There's something about taking the twists/turns of drama too far as to make the resolution unrealistic and implausible. I too enjoyed the ending but I just thought the degree with which you can push your family was exceeded. Maybe it's just me and I should be more forgiving of someone, who maybe less than a month ago was trying to destroy me. The brother and sister storyline also made me feel uncomfortable. Besides that the acting was pretty good, the story developed quite well and for the most part had me on the edge of my seat. I'm a big fan of Hwang Jung Eum and she was adorable as always but the bowl cut is doing nothing for her.

That fact alone should make you drop everything and watch this! This drama really packs a punch. It has everything we've come to love in Kdramas. The acting was so realistic and engrossing, it was almost uncomfortable to watch at times. I would be laughing like a maniac in one scene and be tearing up in the next one!! Really emotionally touching and pulls on your heart strings in so many ways. But the icing on the cake is the ending...so, so good and uplifting. Truly a story of redemption and grace.

Just like other comments, the story is ok but the lead actress is soo annoying. I have to skip some episode just to find out if she change.
