Katie, Hui Xian and Zhi Qing studied Fashion Design together at Lasalle College of Arts. Best friends for life, the three women pursued different paths: Katie became a successful fashion designer, wife and mother; Zhi Qing became an assistant director with vow to remain single forever; Hui Xian became a reporter for a women's magazine, and maintains a fear of bearing children. But their lives are headed for a change when Katie finds a casting call for babies and auditions her baby daughter, Xuan Xuan.
