Same with me. Parents immigrated from Vietnam when I was young. Always tried to make me learn all sorts of instruments. I had to hide the fact that I was playing tennis and soccer for my school . I also had to hide the fact that I was bboying too. They just can't seem to accept the things that I'm passionate about.

"My parents try to make me learn things, but when I want to learn something, they won't approve it." Yeah, I don't get it. Why do my parents want me to be something that I don't want to be? Like, seriously? The only thing someone wants out of the things they love is, happiness, am I right?
