Queen of Housewives Starring Kim Nam Joo, Oh Ji Ho, and Yoon Sang Hyun
Kim Nam Joo's return to the screen after an eight-year hiatus, Queen of Housewives is a breezy tale of rich wives and their powerful husbands fighting over love, money, and social politics. A bit Desperate Housewives, a bit Gossip Girl, and a whole lot of fun, it pulled in ratings of over 20% from early on, peaking in ratings of over 30% at the end.
Chun Ji Ae (Kim Nam Joo) has it all...in high school. Pretty and popular, she's the school's queen bee, while Yang Bong Soon (Lee Hye Young) is the exact opposite, constantly picked on and made fun of. Bong Soon adores Ji Ae and the two are initially friends, until Ji Ae steals Bong Soon's crush, Han Joon Hyuk (Choi Chul Ho). Fast-forward to middle-aged married life, and their roles have reversed. Ji-Ae married Ohn Dal Soo (Oh Ji Ho), a promising university graduate who turned out to be too nice to rise in the corporate ranks and is now constantly unemployed, while Bong Soon married Joon Hyuk after Ji Ae dumped him, who has now risen rapidly through the ranks to become a senior executive in the high-powered Queens Food company. Dal Soo finally has a shot at a decent job through an interview with a major company, and Ji Ae, who's tired of living the poor middle-class life, decides to support him with everything she's got by entering the company's cutthroat social wives club and winning them over. Unfortunately for her, the company happens to be Queens Food, and not only is Bong Soon the secondary queen bee in the club, but her husband Joon Hyuk will be Dal Soo's boss. Jooh Hyuk, however, has never quite recovered from losing Ji Ae, and when Ji Ae proves to have quite the talent for navigating the company's treacherous social waters while the wife of the company's boss sets her sights on Dal Soo, everyone is about to find out that you can't always have your way...
This bubbly, delightful romcom is perfect escapist candy, and never misplaces its emotional heart in the midst of all the catfights and extramarital affairs.

By far, the most cohesive, mature, entertaining drama I have yet to see. The 20 episodes just flew by! The casting, story line, and acting are all pitch perfect. I LOVED THIS DRAMA!

I'm only up to Ep 04, and while some might say I should wait it out... I can't! It's a little too slow for my liking. I can imagine people liking it, but for me if I have to start skipping episodes or taking naps during some, it's probably not my cup of tea!

After enjoying Queen of Reversals, I began Queen of Housewives with high hopes. Disappointment followed. The story started dragging midway though so I skipped 6 or 7 episodes for the last one. I missed nothing by skipping them. The beehive of female activity in the Queen Apartment building got tedious after a while. The actors were talented but not well cast; in several supposedly same age couples, the wife was significantly older than the husband. Kim Nam Joo has both excellent acting abilities and great comedic timing; wish there was more of her work on dramafever.

I really enjoyed watching. Writer, director and the entire cast made this another good, lighthearted drama. Kim Nam Joo and Oh Ji Ho made a perfect couple

Felt in love with Kim Nam Ju. I didn't know how good she was until I watched the "Queen" series. If you liked this one, make sure you also check out Queen of Reveral.

I could relate to the story. The women were alittle exaggerated, but that was to show them more clearly. I hated the lead lady at first, but loved her by ep 4. All the men were really likable too. Definitely a must watch!!

I gave this 5 stars, but originally was gonna give it 3 or 4 stars because of how much I get pissed off in the middle of the night and yelling while watching this drama. So much similarities between this drama and my past relationship. We were sooo happy together and this asshole became friends with me and her and I was his so called brother, but then I had my doubts and was right about that bitch! He wanted me and her to break and so he could be with her. That's how my relationship hit total rock bottom. We got back together, but ended up break up from differences.... *damn* But anyways, fuck that asshole, but anyways lol. I enjoyed watching Queen of Housewives!! It started off like okay good show, then ohh I see, then omg wtf, then can't you tell, then he's the president are you that damn dense, then shit really though, then this asshole director better get what he deserves, then oh come and work things out, and then yeobo! Finally!! HAHAHAHA!!! I recommend and hope ya'll enjoy this drama! =)
