My Woman starring Park Sol Mi, Ko Joo Won, and Park Jung Chul

A remake of 1980s hit drama The Terminal, My Woman is the story of a complex woman who grows up poor and chooses a career over love. Park Sol Mi, Hallyu star for her supporting roles in All In and Winter Sonata and lead of hugely popular 2005 drama Golden Apple, made her turn to TV dramas in this compelling tale.

Yoon Se Ra (played by Park Sol Mi) loses her parents to a car accident as a child. She spends the rest of her childhood in poverty being raised by a friend of her mother's. Her one comfort is her childhood friend Kim Hyun Min (Ko Joo Won), to whom she intends to marry when they grow up. Having lost his father at sea as a child, Hyun Min pours all his passion into his job as the lead ship designer at Dongjin Heavy Industries. Se Ra goes to work at Hyun Min's company also, but when their boss's daughter falls in love with Hyun Min and tries to show him the life he could have if he marries her, tensions arise.

Se Ra, a mere secretary, feels the sting of her poor background keenly, and when her boss, the wealthy Jang Chae Sung (Park Jung Chul) falls in love with her, things go wildly out of hand. Driven by a desire to change her circumstances forever, Se Ra spent her childhood becoming a skilled career woman, and when faced with the opportunity of a lifetime, she abandons Hyun Min and marries Chae Sung.

Hyun Min, by nature a kind man devoted to his work and his family, becomes obsessed with revenge after his fiance abandons him for money, and sets out to become a ship-building tycoon. The woman who abandoned the man she loved for a career and money, and the man who got left behind are on a collision course...

This drama moved my heart for 3 days.I canceled all of the schedules had to watch till the end.Maybe because I am a person very much like Hyun min.I was deeply touched by his pain, sorrow, dream and vision, passion.Even though he is not with Se ra,but he knows what true love is.No matter what happen,he never give up his confidence on people and situation.I want to learn his spirit which he never compromise in any circumstance. Hyun Min knows what he wants.By him,I could see many things about myself which is bottom of my heart. It is also very interesting about ship-world and business.Wonderful actors. Especially Hyun Min and Park Jung Chul. very well develop about inner character of role.I feel very sorry people who just watch only beginning of episode 4 or 5. You have to watch over 8 or 9 then you can't stop it until episode 24. I love the message which is very clear from beginning till the end. Please, never never missed this drama!!

The music is too loud for many of the scenes. And, I don't know why this was stretched out to 24 episodes. I watched the first five and then the last one. That was more than enough.

I'm in the middle of episode 4, and *already* wondering who wrote the crappy dialogue?! The scene in the hotel room between the chairman's daughter & "Hyun Min" was totally stupid! I'd be embarrassed as an actor/actress to have to deliver those ridiculous lines! Then the scene following it between the chairman's son and daughter was equally stupid. Seriously, I think I'm going to have to bail on this one now before wasting valuable hours of my life....

Um...the lead actor has no chemistry with either of his love interests. He is so cold ice would freeze on his ass. No wonder his fiancee dumped him. Does he really love any of these ladies? I think he loved the first one as a sister and the second was gratitude I suppose. I watched up to episode 3 and then the final episode. I am sure I didn't miss much!

WHY DO WE HAVE TO SEE SO much of the newlyweds ?those scenes are so boring. Hyun Min is a hunk of a man and I like the way he walks and have that air of mystic about him. shes a D fool to leave him. But I do get it that she never really Loved him. This girl Se ra is a sicko! she wants to be in-laws with her ex? she is nasty too. I hope HYUN MIN MARRIES MS. Hong. I hate that H.min is gettng with that spoiled big lipped, big eyed girl instead of ms Hong. I'm sorry I watched this slow drama up to now. OMG!

Pretty boring and the story and acting mediocre. Though you gotta love the overarching message that money and power (and the pursuit of) will ultimately lead to happiness.

This drama is just ok. The story just drags on and it gets boring from time to time.
