Pink Lipstick starring Park Eun Hye, Park Kwang Hun, Lee Joo Hyun, and Seo Yoo Jung

Park Eun Hye, who rose to prominence in Jewel in the PalaceYi San and Taiwanese drama Silence, brings her usual charm to this compelling daily drama. With strong ratings, Pink Lipstick's story of a good woman turned revenge-seeker against her cheating husband was picked up by a television network in Taiwan. It co-stars Park Kwang Hun (The Bean Chaff of My Life) and Lee Joo Hyun, who is probably best known as the charismatic detective in When It's at Night.

Yoo Ga Eun (played by Park Eun Hye) is the kind of kind-hearted woman that everyone loves. After falling for Park Jung Woo (Lee Joo Hyun), she dates and then marries him. She has a perfect, happy life, especially after they adopt a daughter. One day, however, she discovers that her husband had an affair with her best friend Mi Ran (Seo Yoo Jung), and that her adopted daughter is the product of that liason.

Shaken to the core, Ga Eun sets out on a course that proves that even nice women, when betrayed, can enact justice on those who hurt them. Leaving Jung Woo and taking her life in her own hands, she marries wealthy businessman Maeng Ho Geol as part of a carefully-constructed revenge plan.

When a man named Ha Jae Bum (Park Kwang Hyun) unexpectedly enters her life, he may be just the one to offer her the love that her husband didn't - but can she learn to trust again? And when Jae Bum promises to support her no matter what, will she have to sacrifice him to gain revenge? Meanwhile, her ex-husband and scheming best friend discover that the woman they always took for granted has more to her than meets the eye...

I watched this whole drama raw back when it first aired, and stuck with it hoping it would get better when random stupid things were added to the mix. Thinking that perhaps it was mainly due to a language barrier, i have given up after struggling through 40 episodes..... I wish i could have scrubbed the whole thing from my brain! I'll watch the last 3 episodes and shelf this one as watched and worst waste of my time ever!

Get ready for Ga-eun's ex staring into the abyss, the random throwing of things, randomly screaming, lots of crying, and terrible make-out sessions. I'm on ep 78. I had to skip from watching 44 in a row. It's repetitive, too many flashbacks and unreliable characters. Yet, I can't stop watching it...? I don't see the point of Ha; the emotion and whole relationship's dynamic was forced and unreal. Bleh. HINT: Skip to 44, if you don't want to watch the whole backstory; it'll take forever. Then skip to 76, when Ga-eun finally gets a backbone. :)

I watched the first episode a year or 2 ago and lose interest. Then I came across it on youtube and then I want to see the end. So, I came to dramafever and watch ep. 146 and it got interesting for me. But I don't know how it was though the show, but the end is ok.

this drama started off with such promise but now as I am on episode 121 and even before that, I find my interest in this drama waning. Irritating mother-in-laws aside, even the "good" characters are irritating. How can Jae Bum call his "Uncle" possessive when he himself is the very definition of possessiveness. Can't stand his wimpy pity party behaviour and Ga Eun is just as bad. Even the enjoyment of seeing Mi RaN aNd Ga Eun's ex dig themselves in a hole is getting old. And Ga Eun's ex's anger stare is hillarious. I find myself laughing when I shouldn't! lol. Changing rating from 4 to 3 stars. Ending is just awful!!!

Normally I get bored quite easily with hour long dramas around even 20 episodes so 149 was a bit of a stretch for me but this show was perfect. The fact that the show was 30 mins an episode didn't take away from it, in fact i made it better for me and every episode left me with something. I didn't grow bored in the middle and characters like Jung-woo and Mi-ran was executed perfectly. This show brought every single emotion out of me. I don't regret watching it at all.

This drama was a mix of classic Korean drama with a very modern point of view. I watched the full drama and I was pleased with the ending. The acting are very decent especially Eun Hye Park, her character is very challenging and i think she does a very good job. The rest of the actors are just ok. the music is also good. Some parts of the show are boring and it is a little long but I liked it.

This drama is not in my top 40. I was not fascinated with any character nor did I have a particular liking for any of them though Kim Mi Ran made it interesting at least. I thought the directing was amateurish and lackluster. They could have shaved off at least a dozen eps in just flashbacks (which are common) and repetitious dialogue (uncommon) alone. It didn’t really get interesting until around ep 80 – 85. Why I continued to watch you might ask? Partly hopeful it would get better. Partly resentful so I needed to justify the time already invested. And lastly because rehab is for quitters and I’m no quitter. I needed to finish what I started. I will add in closing after this drama, I no longer want to see another reflective long walk again!

Never has there been a character as useless as Jae Bum, he talked such a big game, but failed on each level. Kim Miran's love is just like the Chairman's, selfish, and possessive and not true love. I hate that Kim Mi Ran never changed, up till the end she was still hurting Ga Eun and Ga Eun remained a gullible fool till the end. Jung Woo never realized that Kim Mi Ran caused them to loose Dong Dong. Kim Mi Ran caused her brother to be lost, become a criminal, stole her husband, had her raise her child, stole her father's company, caused her father's death, her brother's death, her miscarriage, and infertility, several accidents, and all ends in kumbaya, I call BS. Almost 150 episodes, months of watching, and the ending was rubbish.
