Prince's First Love starring Cha Tae Hyun, Sung Yuri, and Kim Nam Jin

Led by superstar Sung Yuri (Swallow the Sun, Hong Gil Dong) and film star Cha Tae Hyun (My Sassy Girl, Lover's Concerto), this Cinderella story is an addictively low-key romp about learning to look beyond the surface on a quest for love.

Eu Bin (played by Sung Yuri) is an upbeat waitress who works at a sandwich shop with dreams of becoming a tour guide. When she meets handsome, wealthy businessman Sung Hyun (Kim Nam Jin), she falls instantly in love. After winning a ticket for a trip to Hokkaido, she sets off for Japan, unwittingly ditching a blind date with Sung Hyun. At the resort, she meets and instantly clashes with Gun Hee (Cha Tae Tyun), the arrogant, irresponsible heir of a hotel chain, when he mistakes her for a prostitute. The two part hoping never to see each other again, but Eu Bin is offered a job as a tour guide in Tahiti, and Gun Hee is assigned to be her boss. Gun Hee initially plots revenge on Eu Bin, but gradually her sunny charm begins to wear him down. Just as he falls for her, Sung Hyun arrives in Tahiti. Soon, the race is on for the affections of Eu Bin, as the two "princes" both try to win her heart.

The first episode was promising but the majority of the drama was boring. I found Yu Bin to be silly & childish when she was trying to be close to her boss. Later her inability to stand up for herself & her constantly running away from the problems she faced made her seem so weak and at times pathetic. I was impressed that Gun Hee did mature and take on more responsibily. Good performance from actor Cha Tae Hyun. The drama did have some enjoyable and funny moments. The ending was nice and satisying but overall the drama did drag and could have been shortened to 14-16 episodes.

Rated 4.5 for a romantic comedy series. Very entertaining...i was captivated by the 2 brothers. Both male lead actors were great in their performance. I was reeled in at the middle of the first episode....then didnt let go until the next day to finish the series. I didnt expect myself to enjoy the simple story....i think Gunhee made me love this series. They said a woman needs to choose/marry a guy who loves her more than she loves him to live happily ever after.

By looking at the title of this drama, you know that the prince would be the winner. It's a pity that the handsome elder brother is being rejected at the very end. It is enjoyable to watch with the right cast, the unique storyline and the beautiful scenery of Bali & Tahiti. Love the acting of the pretty Sung Yu Ri , the cool Kim Nam Jin and the cute Cha Tae Hyun!

Okay I had to quit watching this after the ocean episode because I am not the type of person to hold a grudge but if you're willing to let me die I really can never ever love you in any universe ever. Why can't he be a normal douchebag instead supervillian, he might as well been kicking puppies.

Almost ended up not watching this, but glad I did. I actually enjoyed the Gun Hee character most of the time. I think his funny antics kind of made this drama. I found it slighly unique that instead of a cold, mean, love-starved guy vs a mr.nice guy it was a bratty, mr. funny guy vs. mr. freeze. Gun Hee wasnt as bad as other reviewers thought, imo. Sure, he was really mean up to the ocean part, but after that he treated her nicely (minus the still present immature/sometimes annoying/stalkerish/spoiled attitude). Dont quite understand the hate in the reviews for the ****SPOILER: ending pair of Yu bin and Gun Hee****

This is only marginally better than Ms. Ripley, which I hated with a passion. I liked Yubin in the beginning, wanted to slap her by the end. Don't know what world the writers live in where a woman would dump someone as well put together as Seung Hyun for a childish brat like Gun Hee. Do men really whine and act a fool like that because the girl they want is with someone else? The ones I know of ended up in jail or badly beaten. I kept watching to see who she would end up with, and then wanted to stop when they ruined everyrthing. I think the storyline would have been better if they had let Yubin and Seung Hyun get married and showed Gun Hee growing the heck up and moving on with his life.
