I watched most of this on TV with no English subs. It was very easy to figure out. However, I had no sympathy toward the main characters. My sympathy went to the sister who died and the boyfriend who was like a tennis ball, back and forth in his relationship with the lead actress. I liked all the actors, some I've watched for years. But, the subject was not acceptable and some of the characters just plain obnoxious. I watched the last episode here to see how it ends and was very disappointed in the ending. I don't recommend this drama to anyone.

the actors were great.! the drama is not something i agree with, i believe that there are just some things you don't go after, no matter what. you can't help who your parents/family are in this world, but you certainly should know not to go after your sister's husband! I wish they found a nice girl to marry Kim Rae Won.

This drama is so hard to rate. It looks like many viewers quit watching the drama because the first half is a complete turn off because of the shallow and despicable female lead. I did myself. However one day I fast forwarded to episode 9 out of curiosity. It was like watching a complete different drama. The first half of the drama centers on the main female character who is extremely self centered, selfish and doesn't care who she hurts. As a viewer I kept hoping someone would slap the heck out of the spoiled Brat. Episode 9 develops into a interesting and amazing love story. Heartfelt family and friend relationships. The writer completely changes her personality. This could have been a good melodrama if the writer did NOT make the female lead so shallow and despicable in episodes 1-8. I honestly felt like I had watched 2 complete different dramas . The first one rated a (1) star and the second one a ( 4 ) star.

To all the haters: The final wedding vow usually reads "until death parts us," not "forever and ever." If you're looking for a fairy tale, this drama isn't for you. And now, the critique. The script was excellent, doing exactly what it was supposed to do, draw you into Yeon Wook's pain & the cosmic unfairness of her situation. Gong Hyo-Jin is a credit to acting as a lonely, vulnerable woman who just wants what all of us do; to be loved by someone who won't die the next day. Jo Jae-Hyun is a good match to Hyo-Jin's considerable talent, embodying a man too good & honorable to take advantage of Yeon-Wook's feelings, even when he's widowed & wants to die from the loneliness. The directing has a few cliches, but these are thankfully brief and sparse. The only real issue I have is the soundtrack, specifically the sappy, poorly produced original pieces that try so hard to add to the mood they end up strangling it a little. My Rating: 4.5/5 stars. Thought-provoking & deeply moving, assuming you have a heart.

I only started watching because of KRW but what a disaster this drama is!!. Disgusting story-line and the lead female is a spoiled brat and very disrespectful to everyone she encounters. The brother-in-law is a weak character; he should have kicked the brat out a long time ago. It gets only one star because otherwise you can't post a review.

This one had many negative reviews, but I decided to give it a try anyway because I like Kim Rae Won. What a mistake I made! Yuk! After 10 episodes, I'm not spending anymore time on this one. The female lead is not someone I can or want to sympathize with. Her lack of respect for her sister's marriage is just wrong. Sure she lost both parents at an early age and thinks it's her fault, but that doesn't excuse her lack of morals as far as her sister's husband. And her sister raised her and was so good to her. What an unlikeable character for the lead. I give this one star only because of Kim Rae Won!

This is the first Korean drama I have seen where I actually felt sick to my stomach. The older sister is the victim. She was betrayed by both her husband and her sister who she raised and sacrificed so much for. Whats his face clearly was attracted to the 17 year old but married her sister anyway. Then the kid will know that his father shagged his mother and his auntie. He will be thrilled when he grows up!. None of these characters know what true love is. If they loved they would have let go out of loyalty and decency. They only loved themselves. True love is not this selfish! How will they raise their kids. ? As long as you are in love its OK. Whether brother sister etc. etc. I am so sickened by this! I give this one star just for the poor kids who will have to be raised by these two incestuous characters. What if the boy wants to marry his sister when they grow up. These parents will have to shut the F.......UP!!!

I have watch all 17 episodes. Unlike the others, I found no reason to be disappointed with this show. I love both Gong Hyo Jin and Oh Yun Soo, who in my opinion, are both talented actresses. keep in mind these ladies play their roles to perfection, so any complaints about them are moot point. All I can say is to sit back and watch the show and just enjoy the story.

I adore Kim Rae-won and he was wonderful in this drama as he is in everything he touches... It was the first drama I saw Jo Jae Hyun and I liked him. I loved Oh Yun Soo as his wife. But why all these wonderful characters like the irritating Gong Hyo Jin is beyond me. She has an irritating voice, her character is so flawed with a sense of entitlement and lack of commitment or loyalty. I could not stand her. And I hated the ending. Thank God Kim Rae-won was not stuck with her for the rest of his life in this drama...

This story is despicable. Why are you cheating with the English subtitles, I don't understand Korean language.. This is so not right. I love Rae Won and he really suffered behind that perverted girl. I hate that B! How could she lay with her dead sisters husband? Won should spit in her face and walk away! I hope that dead girls husband dies and leave that little B by herself after all. She needs to be punished!
