Smile You starring Lee Min Jung, Jung Kyung Ho, and Lee Kyu Han
Lee Min Jung, who leaped to public recognition in much-talked about Boys Over Flowers, won many hearts over with her spunky, bubbly turn as a riches-to-rags princess in this drama, and Jung Kyung Ho has never been funnier. The writer and director team behind 2008's Last Scandal brings the same warmth and hit-making charm to this comedy about family, romance, and changing fortunes.
Seo Jung In (Lee Min Jung), is the kind-hearted but spoiled daughter of a wealthy family. When he family's financial bubble is burst, her fiancé dumps her at the altar and her family is forced rely on the kindness of their former chauffeur's family. While adjusting to life in their crowded new two-family home, Jung In and the Kang's son, Hyun Su, begin to clash. Will these two find a way to get along, or will their annoyance towards each other turn into something else? Smile, You, is a breezy, well-written drama lit by the chemistry and comic ability of its stars that won many fans with it's infectious charm.
I really hesitated about watching the this drama. I didn't think I would like the spoiled rich family. In the end loved all the characters, and all there relationships with each other. I made me laugh and feel good after watching this. So if your still undecided Don't Hesitate and enjoy.
Yes, it's a long drama, but hang in there, people! It's worth it.There is something special about this drama that just taps into universal feelings we can all identify with. Wow...when I laughed, I laughed hard and from my heart in this drama. When characters were unreasonable, I was so outraged! Some scenes were particularly emotional, romantic, and SO SWEET... just moves the heart! There are too many memorable scenes to mention; it's that good. Smile, You is a gem!
A truly stellar cast with gramps doing a great job. Jyung Kyung Ho does a great job, the best I have seen of him.
But IMHO, the glue that binds it all together is the stellar performance of Lee Min Jung. I thoroughly enjoyed this romantic comedy, with moments of ROTFLOL! Bravo!
The actors/actresses are outstanding portraying their perspective characters. This drama is very entertaining. What really makes me laugh is the women in this drama go to bed fully dressed in their daytime clothes. How many of you sleep in the clothing you've been in all day. What happen to the PJ's or nightgowns???
Very entertaining to watch. Cannot look away to miss only one second of this show!
Actors and Actress are doing great job at acting.. Love their facial expression.
Good story and very emotional.
By the time you get to episode 22 you will be laughing out loud. These actors are portraying these outrageous characters so seriously. I would love to see the behind the scenes antics and out takes. I am enjoying this Drama and will give it four stars up to episode 24. 21 more to go. There is not one episode that I would of fast forwarded through. This was about family! Growing, loving, failing, succeeding I laughed and cried, got angry, mad, melancholy. Loved the friendships, relationships and most of all the romances. Perfect couples, cast selection was fantastic. Definitely would recommend.
I love this drama becuase it had a unique way of telling the story. It went from riches to rags and how this family was destined by fate to be together. It was touching how they all gathered around the grandfather and reminded me of my family and how important they really are. This could not have not been done any other way. I don't think they could have condensed this into 24 episodes. Too much story to tell. And the characters were hysterical. Hyunsu and Jungin had great chemistry. Halaboji is so cute i just want to pinch his cheeks and (Kang Sukwoo) Suh Junggil took the cake. He was a jerk but funny at the same time. Great cast!
Smile, You touched my heart. The performances were excellent and true to the characters. I am glad the producers allowed enough episodes to develop the characters well and account for the transformations. Lee Ming Jung did a great job of keeping her cuteness in check; Jung Kyung Ho could be quite devastating in the way he used his eyes to express his sincerity - especially during scenes with his two love interests. The story overall was sweet, touching, and really heartwarming. I enjoyed every performance. I look forward to watching the entire drama again!
This is the best kdrama that i ever watch even though the story is long (45 Episode It's worth it! ) it's a story about family, work, relationship, forgiveness, betrayal, love, friendship everything it's rolled into one the best! I wish the main lead stars which is Jung Kyung Ho and Lee Min Jung are real couple in real life because they have a good chemistry and wish they can make another project. together
