Quite a turn of events. Why? Why did this all have to happen? When ever you think you have it figured out there is another twist. What can I compare this to? The Titanic, no. Romeo and Juliet, no. No, this one stands on it's own. Who was the villain? Is death a tragedy? All though lives were wasted, this drama was not a waste!

First of all, the title of the drama is very apt- fits the storyline to a T. They picked the cast very well and all of them delivered. The little boy is not only cute but also acts well. We'll be seeing more of that boy as he grows up. The main characters did very well - I just wonder, what if the lead was Kwon Sang Woo instead ? It could have been another Stairway to Heaven!. Anyway, it is a tragic drama that was well- written. I was riveted to the story from beginning to end - not a boring moment for me at all- unlike some dramas where you wanted to skip some episodes to see the ending- this one didn't even tempt me to do that at all. There may be some moments where the two leads just stare in space and not say anything - that's called acting and the situation called for it but I still believe that KSW put a stamped to that sad, brooding look - he owns that look and no one can beat him on that.

Understated and powerful. This drama was heartbreaking and sincere. The acting was incredible and the storyline was intriguing. The ending was unexpected yet appropriate in a tragic sort of way.

I recently discovered So Ji Sub after watching "Rough Cut." Since that time, I have watched "Always" and this drama. What powerful and low key performances by all these actors, especially So Ji Sub. It seems his niche is "a man of few words" with smoldering, intense killer looks, a loner, who suffers from a lack of affection. This drama fits the bill with an interesting story and great support players, especially IM Su Jung for her touching portrayal of a young woman who falls so deeply and tragically in love. The reversal of affection angle really works here, along with the inevitable demise of the male lead and the surprising, knock-your-socks-off finale! I'm looking forward to seeing So Ji Sub in the upcoming drama "Ghost" opposite another of my favorites, Daniel Choi. I would highly recommend this drama and suggest you keep a box of tissue handy. I plan to look at any drama any of these actors appear in. Oh, and thank God for nude lip gloss for men....it never met a better set of lips! LOL!

I'm sick of sad endings. As a matter of fact, the whole show was sad.

i thought this drama was the bomb, but its typical, a poor guy meet a cute girl when he have few months to live on so cliche, couldn't they hire at least a guy who can sing, when i found out that he could sing i was like what the hell. im only watching cause of so ji sub, he is one of my favorite actor.

soooo sad and tear-jerking drama! I kept talking to myself that moo hyuk and eun chae will be able to love each other all the way throughout the drama. I was happy that they finally were able to be together in the end.

Very well done, the actors were amazing, the story keeps you interested, and the ending was fitting. The mother son relationship was not creepy as some reviews have said. She was an over protective mother who loved her son to the fullest, Nothing wrong with that. She was as much a victim as any of the other characters.
