Spring Waltz starring Seo Do Young, Han Hyo Joo, Lee So Yeon and Daniel Henney

From revered director Yoon Suk Ho comes the last of the famed Four Seasons dramas (Winter Sonata, Autumn Fairy Tale, and Summer Scent) that helped start the Korean Wave. Spring Waltz stars Seo Do Young (Emperor of the Sea, Friend, Our Legend) and Han Hyo Joo (Shining Inheritance) in the first major role of her career. Lee So Yeon (Temptation of an Angel) and Daniel Henney (Kim Sam-Soon) co-star.

Lee Sun Ho (played by Seo Do Young) grows up the son of a gambler always on the run from debt. Eventually his father abandons Sun Ho on a small island, taking with him all the money the family has saved for their sick daughter's surgery. Instead of running from his family's shame, Sun Ho is persuaded to stay by the kind-hearted Eun Young (Han Hyo Joo), and the two form a deep bond as she helps him search for his father. Tragedy strikes when during their quest, Eun Young is injured and assumed dead. Consumed by guilt, Sun Ho runs away and ends up adopting a new identity along with a new wealthy family.

Fifteen years later, Sun Ho is a renowned pianist, as cold as he is brilliant. While giving a concert in Austria, he crosses paths with a Korean girl who dreams of becoming a designer, but he denies that it could possibly be his lost love. Faced with many difficulties, the two begin to slowly fall in love while unaware of each other's identities. Can the childhood sweethearts ever recapture that springtime on the island together?

who plays young Su Ho. He was really good. Everyone else same ol' crying overkill by grownups, keeping secrets, bipolar leads and dumb female lead who suffers from arrested development . Daniel Henney got the crap role but I still enjoyed his adorable self. Loved the music selections.. The final ep. was well done.

It's pacing was great. I loved that it didn't start with them as kids but unfolded throughout. I also loved the stark contrast of the beautiful but painful winter of Austria

IMO not the best one, but the music, scenery and acting were great. The story was just lacking an element that the other three in the series had. Daniel Henney was eye candy and not too bad - perfect for the role but awkward in comparison to the rest of the cast, the chemistry just wasn't there. Probably won't watch it again, but worth watching at least once. Probably would have enjoyed this one more, if I had seen it before the other three, but in comparison it was not a great way to end the series. And what was up with the main character's fashion sense? As an artist, it should at least make sense, but it seemed like she just got dressed everyday with her eyes closed or something. Everyone else in the show looked okay, but her clothes were distracting in their bright and clashing mess of a look.

It had the right amount misunderstandings, wicked ex-girlfriends, and terrible parenting mixed with undeniable attraction, unconditional love, and forgiveness. I definitely give this one five stars. Did any one else notice that "Love Rain" uses the same building?

For the most part I enjoyed this drama. But what was with the awful wardrobe for Eun Young! and I can't believe she didn't pick Daniel Henny, Ohhh la la! Anyway, The story was really good, but a bit drawn out for me, I found myself fast forwarding so that I could get to the point, and found I didn't really miss anything! I do find myself getting annoyed when women push themselves onto a men who clearly aren't interested, Ina, really got on my nerves, I guess that is a testament to her talent :) I kept watching for the beautiful locations and the really great acting, but I prob won't watch it again.

I've watched all four in this season series and you can see the director's development thru to Spring Waltz. Bravo. The script was smart and holds up over time and the acting was great. Of the series this one was the best!

You know those things you hold so dear to your heart that you start to want them to just yourself? I think this drama is like that. I watched it and i felt like.. Like its mine. The thought of wanting others to watch it just killed my heart. This usually doesnt happen to me. The plot line was beautiful the main lead was so... Breath taking with his smirks and the way he looked at the world unsurely. Their romance is to die for. Overall if your reading my comment. Don't watch this. Its mine <3 <3 <3 Im serious, ill haunt you in your sleep o_O
