Set twelve years after the end of the first General Hospital, Lee Jae Ryong returns as Dr. Kim Do Hoon, now a resident, reuinted with Cha Tae Hyun and Kim Jung Eun, form the hospital’s new generation of doctors.
First-year intern is Jung Ha-yoon, driven by the memory of her father’s death at the hands of incompetent doctors, she practices medicine only to gain experience for her real career as a medical malpractice lawyer, but soon she begins to make the job her own.

only 10 minutes into episode 1--a gal stop speeding ambulance on the road and demand a ride. what so stupid is Ambulance stop and give this girl a ride----does it make sense? it's soooooooooooooooooooo unrealistic, over exaggerated, over stupid acting and please DO NOT COMPARE this piece of junk to American General Hospital--you Korean's don't know how to act except being STUPID!!

The first half is alittle slow but the second half more than makes up for it. Lee Jae Ryong, Cha Tae Hyun, Kim Jung Eun, and Ryu Jin were the life of the show so if they make a General Hospital 3 I hope those four come back.

I am CTH's #1 fan but this drama was painfully boring. I've forced myself to make it to Ep 10 but I care so little about the characters I might just not finish it.

This has got to be my FAVORITE korean medical drama thus far. It used to be New Heart, but GH2 has totally surpassed my expectations. First of all, I think it has a good balance of humor, medicine, and love in the plot, unlike New Heart, which I felt like was too sappy at times. Also, the CHARACTERS are what make this drama so good. I loved each one of them, especially the main character Choi Jin Sang, who is goofy in the drama but that's what makes you laugh. There's good character development and the different personalities of the characters come together to create a nice dynamic. I cried during some episodes of the drama :( , but overall I felt like the drama was light-hearted and not too serious or overbearing. GH2 was released 12 years after the first General Hospital drama series, but some of the same characters come out in the second one, which I think is really cool! Now I really hope they come out with a General Hospital 3!!!

Before starting this Kdrama, I already have good impressions about the lead actors and that alone was enough to catch my attention. With very little expectations, I ended up enjoying this Kdrama but my only problem is that it lacked in the romance department. The drama in the hospital was well-played though and I enjoyed it more than I thought. The most memorable for me were scenes with Ryu Jin (Hyun Woo) & Kim Jung Eun (Ha Yoon) and Cha Tae Hyun never dissappoints you. If they were to come out with General Hospital 3, I would definitely consider watching it for those three, if they return. In fact, I am hoping there will be a General Hospital 3... My rating: A stable C+!
