When It's At Night starring Kim Sun Ah and Lee Dong Gun

When It’s At Night is Kim Sun Ah’s first follow-up to the smash sensation My Lovely Sam Soon — the drama that made her a star. She brings her quirky charm to the role of an Inspector at Korea’s Cultural Theft Division in a lighter Tomb-Raider-esque tale of art theft and treasure hunting. Charming, funny, and alternately suave and rambunctious, When It’s At Night co-stars Lee Dong Gun of Lovers in Paris as a slick, womanizing art expert.

After her treasure-hunter father is branded a thief by Korea’s Cultural Heritage Administration and disappears, Heo Cho Hwi (Kim Sun Ah) decides to follow in his footsteps, but on the side of the law. Seven years later, she is an art discoverer who is committed to protecting the nation’s artifacts. Investigating art crime all over the country, she hopes that one of them will lead her to her father.

On the other hand, Kim Bum Sang (Lee Dong Gun), an expert specializing in detecting forgeries and restoring original art pieces, is in it for the fame and money. When the two are paired together to track down stolen cultural heritage pieces, they immediately clash. With the dedicated preservationist and the hotshot playboy working together as a team, all sorts of sparks begin to fly, and they just might prove the law that “opposites attract”…

Also known by alternate titles Everyday Night, When Night Comes, and Night After Night. Visit our friends at Drama Wiki and Hancinema for additional information about this drama.

Funny This was pretty good. Not the best one I have seen. I enjoyed the interactions of all the characters.

watch it fun couple, great story. Kim Sun Ah, as always, does a great job. Lee Dong Gun, really made me fall in love with him, this is the second drama I've seen with him in it. he is a great actor. I hope he comes back after his military service. all the other characters fall into place perfectly. so good it only took me a few days to finish. I wish to see Kim Sun Ah in more dramas. lol Every time is saw lee joo hyun all i could think of was "Park Jung Woo - pink lipstick". very good actor

Love for Lee Dong Gun All the characters, whether minor or major, are appealing and fun to watch, There was no moment/plot points when I wanted to fast forward through. Lee Dong Gun and Kim Sun Ah have awesome chemistry and their back-and-forth banter was hilarious. I love Kim Sun Ah, but Lee Dong Gun is very very cool in this drama and he made me squee every time he smiled. Just watching him made this drama worth five stars!

Excellent Kim Suh Ah is the A++ talented, pretty actress and obviously, my favorite. The story (relying on hopefully accurate subtitles) was excellent and better than "My Lovely Sam Soon". While male lead, Lee Dong Gun is pretty and talented, Cha Seung-won of "City Hall" is ruggedly handsome and a better partner for her. The second female lead part went well past annoying as did the petty thugs parts - director's fault. Have watched this drama several times and will watch again. Highly recommend it for non-Korean American audiences. Most romantic-comedy parts should go to or be written for Kim Suh Ah. P.S. Would someone please tell me what was written on the last tile KSA paused and looked at when she was on the island? Would have been nice if that had a subtitle.

Awesome! From start to finish, I was hooked to this drama right away. All of the characters were very interesting, funny, and memorable (even the minor characters). The chemistry between the two leads was believable as well. There wasn't as much action as I expected, but it had a good amount of it to keep the story interesting. All in all, I definitely recommend this drama! (On a random note, I felt that this series was more "National Treasure" as opposed to "Tomb Raider"... maybe it's just me?)

so good! It has a really good balance of romance, mystery, and action. LDG and KSA make a super cute couple too :) It's never a boring drama and is cute, but not TOO cute that it's sick. :)

Awesome Drama I loved this drama!! It was funny and romantic from start to finish. The acting was great, especially on Kim Sun Ah's behalf-her crying scenes were very beliavable. But i have to admit that the ending disapointed me. I wished they would have gotten married or something like that or had children.....But overall it was EXCELLENT!
