My Girlfriend is a Nine-Tailed Fox is a snappy, quirky, folklore-infused romantic drama about a star-crossed couple played by, Actor/singer Lee Seung Gi Brilliant Legacy and Shin Min Ah, (A Bittersweet Life and A Love to Kill).
Cha Dae Woong (Lee Seung Gi) is a spoiled brat with plans becoming a successful action star. One day, on the run from his rich grandfather's latest fit of rage towards him, he accidentally frees a nine-tailed fox who has been imprisoned in a painting for 500 years. Frightened at first, he runs away in the woods and ends up getting seriously injured. Feeling indebted to him, the gumiho give him her "fox orb," a powerful part of her life force to heal him. When he wakes up, the two form an awkward partnership, as Dae Woong begins to rely on the power of the orb to shoot his action sequences, while also giving in to Mi-ho's request to teach her how to act human. Initially doing what Mi-ho wants because he's afraid of her, Dae Woong gradually begins to fall for her. However, Mi-ho will be faced with a terrible choice as her time in human form runs out in this heart-wrenching comedy.

Perfect with all the right amount of everything; laughs, cries, cheers, romance, mystery with history but in a fun way. All the cast is great as well and played their parts well. It was directed and edited well also. One I would watch again..

Evidently too many.... I need to stop - am on the fourth time now. I just love this couple... in this story. Wow.... I have got to get a handle on this addiction I have to these Korean dramas. For the past nine months no writing (I am an author by profession) no jewelry (and a prof metalsmith) and no taking care of anything much. Thank God my husband understands....

An enjoyable drama. Shin Min Ah was refreshing. Her bubbly personality suited her role as the 9 tailed fox. Lots of fun.

Took me a while to agree to watch it. Thought I wouldn't like it with the fantasy type of plot. Now I'm glad I did! Going down as one of my favorites! Lee Seunggi wasn't my type that I was into, but while watching King 2 Hearts and finishing watching this drama, he's totally growing on me!

LOVED this drama!! Lee Seung Gi is becoming a favorite actor! Shin Min Ah is so beautiful! I love dramas with a little bit of magic and the culture shock with Miho is amusing too! The story held me to the end! My 5 year old daughter watched it and loved it with me too! This drama has pretty music too!! I loved the random scenes that incorporated characters from "You're Beautiful" Lee Hongki cameos are Jeremy and Park Shin Hye cameos as Go Mi Nyeo. So amusing! Watch this drama! Most will love it!

First and favorite Korean Drama I watched. This show will make you laugh, cry, smile, angry. I'm a dude and a lot of man tears were shed. I had to punch a wall at after watching all of it to regain my mainly ways. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! Watch please, you won't reget it; such an amazing show : ) .
