Running Shirt starring Baek Sung Hyun and Park Min Young
The second part of an MBC special series which featured two mini-dramas back-to-back (the other being Living Without Incident), Running Shirt is a heartwarming, inspirational story about courage in the face of obstacles. Starring Baek Sung Hyun of Sea God and Park Min Young of recent drama Sungkyunkwan Scandal, the drama was shot in beautiful Gyeongju and directed by Lee Dong Woon of Hero.
Dae Gu (Baek Sung Hyun) is a naturally talented athlete, but haunted by guilt over his brother's sports-related death, he vows to never participate in sports again. Leaving athletics behind, he vows to never enter that world again. When Haeng Joo (Park Min Young) enters his life, however, she inspires him to try again. Discovering a passion for running, he begins competing in marathons. Heo Ji Man (Yoo Yun Suk) is his rival in both love and running. Overcoming his trauma, he grows up and learns the value of friendship and love.
OMG, this is totally best mini series I have ever seen!!!! I totally loved that the series gave each character a whole set of problems instead of just focusing solely on the protagonist. Side Note: Beak Seung Hyun looks like Sandeul from B1A4!!!
His acting skills in this piece totally draws it away from his kid character he played in Stairways to heaven. I like it. Portrays the main character very well.
PERFECT!!! love the story..its so simple short story but you learned so much from it..." FRIENDSHIP" and how they pleased, respect ,and love the parents... ( mom and both dads) it seems they grew up well. great acting. it's a must see!!! :) thanks dramafever!! good luck and more power!!!! WISH ALL THE BEST TO ALL STAR CAST!!!!
