Coffee House starring Kang Ji Hwan, Park Si Yeon, and Ham Eun Jung
A brilliant, quixotic writer is caught between his publisher and his secretary in this upbeat romantic comedy. Director Pyo Min Soo of famed drama Full House brings the same light touch to this playful romance. Top actor Kang Ji Hwan (Hong Gil Dong) takes the lead as the quirky novelist, while Park Si Yeon (Story of a Man) and Ham Eun Jung of Kpop group T-ara co-star.
Lee Jin Soo (Kang Ji Hwan) is a bestselling novelist famed for his thrillers and loved in particular by female fans. His best friend and publisher is Seo Eun Young (Park Shi-yeon), who has built up a successful publishing company through sheer hard work and brilliant handling of difficult clients (including Jin Soo himself). The two have had a long friendship, but their relationship is complicated by Jin Soo's personality and some events of the past. Things are about to change with the arrival of Jin Soo's new secretary. Seung Yeon, a kind, bumbling former barista, is almost completely ignorant of the publishing business, but is determined to be a success. When Han Ji Won, Eun Young's ex-fiance, beings to pursue her again, all four individuals will be forced to reevaluate their relationships and goals.

I understand that all movies can't have a happy ending for everyone but this show should have gone that way. The wrong people ended up together! But I still liked it. Loved the main male character. I've seen a few of his other movies and thought he was good in this one as well as the others.
I have seen most of Kang Ji Wan's dramas and this by far is the most unmemorable of all. I'll stick to Lie to me and Hong Gil Dong any day. It's not the actors and actresses that's the problem - it's their characters!
OMG WHYYYYYY?!?!?!?!?!?
i don know why ppl didn like it. it was really, really funny,
but honestly the end was really disapointing -____-
i loved Eun Jung's character by the way LOL
Hilarious drama but the ending disappointed me because I wanted Seung Yeon and Jin Soo together! I would have given it a 5 out of 5 if the ending was different... but overall, this isn't your average drama! If you're looking for something new, this is definitely something I would recommend! Lots of fun and laughing :)
Not quite sure what's wrong with this drama - it's just certainly not all there. I think they took every Kdrama stereotype (main guy is a jerk, main girl is unintelligent and unnatractive) and drug them out for far too long before there was any resolution or character development (he becomes nice and more honest, she blossoms). In other words, a first class drag. I skipped around a lot after the halfway mark. The ending is.. different, I'll give it that, and leave it alone.
This show is really cute. I've actually laughed out loud several times.
Edit: Well, I just finished it. The ending seemed bittersweet. But, that happens sometimes. The ending reminded me of the Stones lyric "you can't always get what you want, but if you try sometimes, well you just might find, you get what you need."
