Biography
Feng Shao Feng, also known as William Feng, is a Chinese actor born in Shanghai, China. The only son to a wealthy family, he was influenced by his arts-loving mother and learned to play the violin at an early age. After graduating from the Shanghai Theatre Academy in 2001, he started appearing in TV dramas and quickly rose to starring roles such as in Assassinator Jin Ke (2004).
Very popular shows such as The Drive of Life (2007), Nuren Hua (2007), Four Women Conflict (2008), Schemes of a Beauty (2010) have further established him as a top-tier male lead. His role as Yin Sin, the eighth prince, in the time-travel romance series, Palace (2011), propelled him to even greater fame and popularity beyond China. Due to his many roles as handsome, wealthy heirs, Feng has been nicknamed as "China's #1 Young Master."
Feng has starred in many films such as White Vengeance (2011), Painted Skin: The Resurrection (2012), Tai Chi 0 (2012) and Tai Chi Hero (2012). He also appeared in Palace (2013), a movie spinoff from the popular drama series.
